(Should Uriah follow her without her knowing?)
(Should Uriah follow her without her knowing?)
(Up to you lol. She’ll be swimming, the. Her foot will get caught in a crack)
She looked a bit upset. Uriah followed behind her. He just wanted to make sure she was okay. While she swam he sat behind a tree out of sight.
Sparrow dove down and swam under water for a bit. She came back up for air and went back down.
"She seems okay." He closed his eyes and laid his head on the tree. He would listen for her breath when she came back up to make sure she was still there.
She swam near the bottom and realized she couldn’t move. Liking back at her foot, she saw it was wrapped in some plants. BLUB and air bubble escaped. She twisted her body and tried to break the plants
It was quiet. Did something happen? Uriah turned and looked around the tree and didn't see her. "Sparrow!" Uriah ran and without hesitation jumped into the water and searched for her. He was feeling around until he felt her arm. Okay. He came up for air the dove back under. Her foot. he hit the ground trying to loosen it. It made the slightest move and he pulled on her foot yanking it out. As he went up for air he dragged Sparrow out of the water and laid her down. "Hey, you okay?"
She didn’t respond
(I have to go for a bit. Sorry, I'll come back as soon as I can.)
(Bai!)
(Hi!)
(Hey!)
(Back!) Uriah put his hand on her chest. She's not breathing. immediately he started to do chest compressions. "She might have water in her lungs." He whispered. "Hey, I need some help out here!"
Cyrus thought he heard Uriah shout from outside. He left his tea on the table and peeked up through the top hatch of the bunker, but didn't see anyone. "Uriah?" he called, "Is that you?" He had his crossbow ready in case there were enemies near.
"Cy?" Uriah was glad someone heard him. "Cy, get your ass over here now!" Water was finally starting to come out. But she still wasn't breathing. "She's not breathing."
Cyrus slid down to the ground next to Sparrow, and his heart rate shot up when he looked over her face. Her lips were slightly blue, and she was indeed not breathing. He placed a hand over her neck to check for a pulse, and was greeted with the feeling of a feeble beat.
"She's got a pulse. Don't do chest compressions."
He was breathing really hard, trying not to panic, but if nothing else, he knew exactly what to do. Cyrus turned Sparrow's head to the side to drain whatever water he could out, then he laid her head back a bit and brushed some of the wet hair away from her mouth. He pinched her nose slightly and leaned in to start giving her mouth-to-mouth. Cyrus watched her chest closely. At first, the breaths were not making her chest rise like it should have.
Darkness. She was floating. In the distance the sound of a child’s laughter was heard ‘Mama push me!’ She heard her say. Then the voices faded
"If only I got to her sooner!" Cy seemed to know what he was doing, so Uriah let him take over. "How am I going to live with myself if she dies." He should have watched her more closely. Or told her he was just going to come with. "Sparrow please wake up." Uriah fell to the ground next to her.
she felt a warm feeling across her chest ‘would you like to stay?’ A voice asked her ‘my friends…’ she thought. The warm feelings spread ‘Go child, it is not your time’ a face appeared in front of her ‘mom?’ The face smiled ‘go’
Sparrows hand slightly twitched
"Uriah, can you keep an eye on pulse and breathing?" Cyrus asked between breaths, "It would help me greatly."
He knew that the other guy probably would feel better about the situation if he felt like he was helping. Besides, it would keep Cyrus from having to stop what might be lifesaving to check her vital signs.
"Y-Yeah of course." Uriah put two finger on under her jawline and watched her chest. "Both seem good right now."
She suddenly gasped and started coughing
Cyrus turned Sparrow on her side again to make sure the water didn't go back down.
"Sparrow…" he muttered, a firm hand clasped over her shoulder, "Sparrow, can you hear me?"
Uriah just fell back onto the grass. That was scary. He already lost Zhavia, he can't lose someone else. "Cy, man you did good." Uriah put his thumbs up.
“Cyrus? I’m tired.” She said closing her eyes
