"now." Alex threw a throwing knife into the skull of the man carrying the crossbow and ducked into the bushes as the men with swords back tracked on the path.
"now." Alex threw a throwing knife into the skull of the man carrying the crossbow and ducked into the bushes as the men with swords back tracked on the path.
as one of the swords men passed him he jumped out and dug the gountlets into the back of the man and with a loud clap of lightning his chest exploded.
Uriah ran towards the guy on the right. The man swung his sword, but Uriah slid under it and cut off the gust leg then stabbed him in the chest when he fell over. When he was down his breath was shallow. "Oh, man I actually just killed someone." He pulled his sword out and felt his stomach twist. "Oh god." He ran behind a tree and started throwing up.
Alex found Uriah and patted him on the shoulder after wiping it off on a tree "you did good, the first few kills are always hard to bare, but you learn to see it this way 'in this world it's kill or be killed' and if you don't strike first it could be the last breath you take."
Uriah was shook his sword sliced through the gust leg so easily. Sure he sharpens his sword every day, but it shouldn't be able to do the right. "Yeah, I just have to get used to it."
"come on, lets head back." he seemed completely blank. "sorry about your breakfast…"
Eira and Andra spent the time while Uriah and Alex were out discussing what they missed in the years they’d spent apart. Eira didn’t mention the part about her and Alex, feeling to awkward to bring it up.
"Not your fault." He wiped his mouth with his sleeve, which was gross but he needed a shower or something anyway. Uriah followed behind Alex. "You're really good, at what you do, maybe," he shrugged "You could show me a few things, help me out a bit."
"i'd be happy to, after all we're all in this together." they emerged from the tree line and headed into the bunker
Eira looked up as Alex and Uriah entered the bunker then back to Andra, continuing to speak to her.
Uriah definitely looked sick at the moment, he feels like if someone asked they would make fun of him for throwing up because of killing someone.
Cyrus looked over to Uriah. "Hey, what's wrong? You look rough."
"his first kill…" Alex pulled out his broken sword and fitted it with a new handle.
Eira stood up and walked over to Alex, “You okay?” She asked softly.
"Oh. Yeah, that'll do it to you," Cyrus said calmly.
He snapped out of his trance "Yeah i'm fine." he shrugged "Had to kill 2 assassins and felt lifeless, don't worry I'm fine though."
"Yep," he felt sick again and ran into the bathroom.
Eira looked up at him with worry in her eyes, “No, no you’re not. Please don’t lie to me Alex.”
"Well… I guess I'll go take care of him," Cyrus said on a laugh. He wasn't looking down on him- quite the opposite, really. In fact, he knew exactly what that felt like.
Cyrus grabbed a rag and soaked it in the kitchen sink, then stopped by the bathroom door.
"Hey, I've got a washcloth if you need to clean up," he said softly.
(I have to go for a bit but I'll be back later.)
Krista had fallen into a trance. Her pendant was still pressed to her lips, but she was sitting up now, back to the wall. Her eyes had glazed over slightly. Sweat had begun to dry on her skin. (oh jeez i feel like im just shoving in krista now…)
(See you!)
Eira looked up at him with worry in her eyes, “No, no you’re not. Please don’t lie to me Alex.”
He sighed "I'm fine, I just… i don't know how to explain it, i just get a little emotionless."
“Emotion…less?” She cocked her head in question but then shook herself out of it, “Never mind, you don’t have to answer, as long as you’re okay.”
"I act based off of pure instinct like when you were poisoned and in pain, I let you squeeze my hand to help redirect pain."
