“I’ll help you out, don’t worry.” Eira said, laughing a little and lent back on her hands.

"It makes sense though, she has been around you a lot more than me." He laughed patting her head. "Thanks."

(Honestly, I prefer catos over puppers but I still love puppers)

(I love cats. But ever since I was born I never once never had a dog, so they are kind of my life and I love them. Actually Zhavia's dog is named after my real dog haha.

(Awww, my puppers name is Rosie and she’s so blind and deaf it’s unreal)
“No problem,” Eira paused for a moment, thinking, “You really do love her…” She said quietly, looking over at Zhavia’s grave.

(I can't pick a dogs vs cats side. I can see why dogs are terrifying. I'm scared of specific dogs, like my bf's dog that hates me for no reason and tries to herd me around the kitchen and tries to bite me. But I love my dog. She's a beagle/terrier mix and the cutest, sweetest doggo ever. I like cats, but the only cat I've ever owned was a total gold digger. She came to us around Christmas, ate our food, meowed at 6 am to be fed, and peed on our furniture, then up and left 2 months later and never came back.)
Cyrus smiled at Sparrow. She made him forget, if even just for a moment. Truth was, he needed her even more than she needed him.
"Want to go back and see what everyone else is up to?"

He followed her line of sight and looked over at the grave. "Of course and I always will." He face softened and he smiled although it was a bit sad. "I wanted to marry her someday." He choked up a bit saying that. "Sorry." Uriah tried hard not to cry. Was doing so well at it till now.

“Sadly, life is never fair.” She said coldly

"Ain't that the truth." He couldn't even smile at this point. Was it all just hitting him now? She was gone and was never going to see her again. I'm sorry, but can I be alone for a bit?"

“Take all the time you need.” Eira said softly, standing and heading into the bunker.

"Damn it!" He punched the ground. Why did they have to take her from him? And now of all times when he need her most.

“Not really to be honest.” She said sitting right side up. She climbed higher “come up here!”

(can we all agree that sugar gliders are the best though?)

Krista woke up, feeling more awake than she had been in years. Riddle was curled up over her heart.

Alex had fallen asleep with a small device in his hand and Odin was cuddled up with his head.

Eira didn’t want to disturb anyone so she quietly slipped into a bunk, lying there awake while she thought through everything

"Oh… okay." Cyrus grabbed a branch and it broke immediately under his weight.
He grabbed again for a thicker one and pulled himself up slowly, using the treads on his shoes to keep a grip. He felt the stitches in his arm stretch, so he tried a different angle, and after a bit of struggling, Cyrus pulled himself up on a thick branch right beneath Sparrow.

Uriah was still outside as darkness covered the sky, it match with how he was feeling, dark and empty. "We really should go in." Freedom looked at him and moved closer nudging him with her nose. "I know, I feel the same." Something hit Uriah's arm and he looked down. "It's raining. We really have to go inside." He ran to the bunker with Freedom at his side. It was hard to get the dog inside but he managed.

Krista sat up as she heard people coming down into the bunker. Riddle let out an angry squeak as he fell down into her breast pocket.

Alex woke to Odin pecking his nose with his beak and looked toward a bunk next to Eria's "yes i know Odin, but look at her, she's asleep." he shook his head and look at the bunk again "Odin… just go back to sleep…" Odin slapped him with one of his wings and basically pointed to Eria who was seeing that she was awake "oh…"

Eira sighed and rubbed her face with her hands. She looked at the ceiling while absently fiddled with her necklace, try to keep herself from not breaking down and waking people up.

Alex walked over to Eria "hey, you ok?"

“Hm? Yeah, I’m fine.” She rolled over onto her side and looked up at Alex with a strained smile.

"No you're not… I know that look because I've used it, something is on your mind." he crouched down to rest his head on the edge of the bunk.
