asiufhbsifhkjbs I WAS TRYING TO FIND THIS FOR SO LONG AND I DIDN'T KNOW WHERE IT WAS. I had actually been planning on bumping this. I'm so sorry for not doing it before!
OOF… It's ok!!
(No problem)
Arthur wandered down the streets. It was getting late but the streets were still lively with bustling people in the early evening. He pulled his hood lower, not really wanting to be seen as he pushed past merchants, thieves, and shoppers alike. A few more minutes and he could smell the wafting of food coming from a nearby tavern. His stomach growled, he hadnt stopped to eat in days. Arthur sighed and headed for the tavern. maybe a good drink will help he thought pushing bad memories away.
Mikhail quietly smiled at the customers as he handed them their drinks. Even though he was a superhero and everyone praised him when he managed to stop a villain, he had never been a big fan of being the center of attention. He rarely wanted any attention, so what better job to have then being a bartender? Most people would not pay attention to him and even if they did, they wouldn't remember him since they're too drunk.
Arthur cautiously headed up to the tavern, poking his head inside before stepping in unnoticed. Heading over to the counter he sighed, I just want to forget everything! he thought, trying to ignore all the memories..
Mikhail had been chatting with someone for no reason in particular until a guy sat down at the counter. He walked over to the guy and smiled at him. "Hey there, what would you like?" He asked.
"Anything…" said Arthur glumly. "I don't really care at this point.."
Mikhail chuckled and went over to make the man a drink. "So, what made you come here?"
"No Idea" said Arthur hoping the guy would take a hint and leave him alone.
Mikhail sighed and handed the drink to the man after he finished making it. The man didn't want to talk much, that meant he was either going through a bad break-up or something else.
Arthur accepted the drink, downing a lot of it, wincing at the bitter taste. heck, it suits my mood.. he thought, "Thanks.." he said.
Mikhail's blue eyes shot up again when he heard the man that didn't want to talk, talk. That's new. "Oh-you're welcome," He said quickly, smiling at the man before cleaning up a spot where some other people had been. Why do they always have to make such a mess?
(Y'know.. Arthur is officially the first of my characters to have had alchohol of any kind since I started writing, at least when I was writing it that is..)
(Lol, I don't think any of my characters have had alcohol yet)
Arthur took another long drink, trying to mull over all the events of the past twelve years…
Mikhail kept scrubbing at the stubborn stains that won't come off. Come onnnnn.
Arthur looked up, watching the bartender scrub at the stains. Digging something out of his pocket he pushed it over. The vial had a light blue liquid in it, and glowed softly. "It's a cleaning agent, it'll get those stains off…" he said quietly.
Mikhail looked up at the man who had put a vial of light blue liquid next to him. Why is he being so nice to me? He picked up the vial and handed it back to the man. "It's fine, the stains will come off sooner or later."
"trust me it'll be a lot faster" said Arthur quietly, taking another long drink.
I'm so confused, Mikhail thought as he shook his head. "Like I said before, it's fine. It really is," He replied.
Arthur shrugged, not wanting to argue as the alcohol settled in a little, making everything fuzzy.
Mikhail had never trusted anyone and he started scrubbing the table again.
Arthur finished his drink, pushing the cup away he buried his face in his arms, wishing it were enough to make him pass out.
Mikhail heard a cup being put down as he finished cleaning the table. "Want another one?" He asked.
