"Later this afternoon" said Arthur, "And I think I should stay away from drinking… as far as I'm concerned it just made my issues worse…."

"Oh-uhm-well-I-uh-kind of want to keep that private. I promised my friends I wouldn't tell anyone about it…."

"Oh..OK" said Arthur, studying his plate for a moment as he got up to take it to the sink.

"Sorry…." Mikhail muttered awkwardly, also getting up to put his plate in the sink.

"It's ok" said Arthur, feeling awkward for having wanted to spend the day with this guy.

Mikhail looked outside, realizing he should probably head out by now. "I have to go now, bye." He said, quickly grabbing his cloak and walking out of the house.

Arthur watched him leave, sighing he sat back down on the couch. Am I being some kind of lovestruck fool??

Mikhail walked into the forest again, knowing Zyra was probably waiting for him. I fell for a guy who I met yesterday… What the actual fuck is wrong with me?

Mikhail sighed, smiling at Zyra when he saw her. She smiled back awkwardly before heading towards the door, which was always in a different place, but always in the forest.

Arthur went bright red, burying his face in his hands, Whhyyyy

They walked towards wherever the door was, with Zyra leading the way. Does he even like me? he probably doesn't, does he?

Arthur sighed, getting up and heading out the door, carefully he warped out to the woods. Shifting he began looking for Mikhail's scent…

They walked in silence for a few minutes until they found the door again, Zyra walked in first then Mikhail walked in and he shut the door behind him.

Following the scent he found a large clearing, He must have gone through another one of those doors…. he thought,

Mikhail started heading to his cubicle but was almost instantly tackled to the floor by Alice. "Mikhail, where in the world were you?" She asked. He struggled around. "Two things. One, get the fuck off me before I punch you. Two, I have a life outside of here unlike you."

Arthur sighed, Settling down to wait.
If I get hurt I blame you.

Alice sighed before getting off Mikhail and holding out a hand for him. "I can get up on my own, thank you very much." Mikhail said sarcastically before getting up and heading towards his cubicle again with Alice right next to him. "So, why did you think you needed to tackle me to the floor to get an answer?"

Arthur fell silent at that, knowing he was right.

Mikhail quietly opened the door, the sun was setting and no one would be in the forest but he still wanted to check. He sighed in relief when no one was there and walked out, the orange light from the sunset made his freckles even more prominent against his olive skin.

Arthur was dozing in the bushes not far away, but he blinked when he heard a door open.
