Jackson looked up from his computer and smiled at the librarian. "Thank you. That's very kind of you." He grabbed a cookie from the cart and took a bite out of it. He then tapped Evan on the shoulder, hoping to get his attention. "Hey, the librarian brought some cookies. And hot cocoa."
Evan jumped up, and took out an earbud. "Oh! Awesome!" He perked up and grabbed a few cookies and some hot cocoa, and he took a big inhale, and took a sip and smiled. "Mmm yes."
(Are you still interested in this?)
(I am. I've just been having a busy week. Or more like busy weeks. I'll put up a proper response tomorrow in the morning.)
(okay I'm just checking. Take all the time you need)
Jackson laughed a bit as he watched Evan jump in excitement. He took a cup of hot cocoa and took a sip. "Oh, this heavenly. It's really nice of the librarian to brig the group something, don't you think?" He asked as he took another sip and put it down beside him.
He nods. "She knows how to get us to keep writing just when we get tired. She's really nice." He smiled and wrote down his number, and slipped it Jackson. "Here. In case you need any help with writing."
Jackson smiled gratefully at Evan. "Oh, thank you." He took the paper and put it away. He turned back to writing, while occasionally drinking his hot chocolate. He knew he would have to go soon, due to some things he had to take care of, but as long as he was still in the library, he would enjoy the company of the other people. Soon his phone buzzed and he let out a sigh as he packed away his things. "Well, I have to leave. But thank you for all the help, guys."
(ohhh I'm so sorry I got wrapped up in grades and catching up. I'll get a response to this asap!)
(I'm also trying to catch up on school work and raise up my grades, so I'm not going to be very active. But it's fine! Take all the time you need. After all, there's no rush. )
Evan watched him leave and gave a small wave, returning to his own writing. He hummed softly, and stayed at the library for most of the day. He didn't mind. This was his home away from home, and was really close with most of the teens. Of course, he got bullied sometimes especially with the more feminine clothes he wore, but the librarians were always quick to reprimand the children for being rude, as he continued about his day.
