(Let's continue!)
(Let's continue!)
(Yes lets!!! I have to duck out in a few minutes for a while though. I'm going to watch Captain America with my parents.)
Jonah rolled his eyes and watched the Prince warily. "Please don't get too dirty, sir, I really don't want to bathe you." (Jonah's more of a babysitter than an advisor :P)
(XD)
"You may not know this, but I can take care of myself, yeah?"
He let himself fall, turning in mid-air, Cadmus landed on his feet. His book and flask came down after him, he kicked both into the air before they could reach the ground, and then caught them.
"Have a nice day, sir!" He said, and he walked to rose bush next to Lenore.
Natalie sat down on the ground, watching the guard exchange.
(I'm trying to make Cadmus an edgelord!)
"I'm fully aware, and that's why I hate doing it." Jonah retorted.
"Makes two of us, mate…" Cadmus said.
"Don't call me 'mate.' I only 'mate' with certain people, and you are not one of them. Let's just agree to have our resentments and move on with our sad, miserable lives." Jonah muttered, rubbing the patch on his jacket.
Natalie covered her mouth to stifle her giggle. She hoped that Jonah hadn't noticed.
"Not like that, guy, sarcasm, you know!" Cadmus said drily. "Come on, pal!" He took a sip from his flask, and sat down.
(dun dun duuuuuun)
(I honestly can't have Trenna enter at this point, so I'll just keep watching :P)
"(beaver) dam straight, you'd better not mean that. Now's not the time."
(Just stumble in 'key!)
"Why would I, eh?" Cadmus poked. He wondered if anyone would get the joke he made. Probably not.
(Why [wood] I, get it?)
"Stoppp," Jonah replied, smiling a bit. "You're forcing me to be happy. You know I hate happiness."
A girl emerged onto the grounds, walking slowly, obviously lost. She had long black hair, untied and obviously not brushed for several days. But overall, her skin and clothes were clean. Her unstyled hair and foreign clothing gave away her status immediately.
"Uh… excuse me? Is there… someone of authority I can speak with?" She was eyeing the party with a look of confusion, thinking they were a strange bunch of "royals."
"Fine!" Cadmus said, snickering.
"Yes, may we help you?" Jonah asked, averting his attention from the prince. (gotta go, see y'all in the morning)
Natalie could hardly keep in her giggling. Then she heard the girl. She stood up and walked over to the girl. "I'm probably the one with the most sense around here right now. What can I help you with?"
"Hey, I have at least some sense!" Jonah protested angrily in the background.
Natalie slapped her hand to her mouth to keep herself from laughing.
