(fake place works for me.)
(we can call it West Carolina :P sorry i thot)
I mean like, where do we start the scene, setting you know?
(Outside a castle on a summer morning?)
(haha I prefer East DC area misself [kidding, let's go with yours])
OK… I'll do it!
Cadmus was looking down on everything from his position in a tree. (cringe I'm sorry, exposition, man) He pondered something, and shifted his weight. (double cringe don't kill me guys)
(Trenna swoops in and slits Cadmus' throat on the spot for sitting in a tree and "pondering something") (NOT REALLY BUT SHOOT I HAD TO)
(Why would we kill you?)
Alicia sauntered into the gardens, picking up her skirts. She stood and waited for the princess to follow.
Natalie pulled herself up beside Cadmus. "What's up?"
(you kinda asked for it, that's all. it wasn't cringey tho shuriken, be proud)
(Btw Natalie likes working and doesn't mind getting dirty.)
(I love you guys!)
Jonah tailed Alicia and the princess warily, journal in hand. "What are we doing this time?"
"How're you, Natalie? Is the day treating you well?" Cadmus asked.
lenore was siting in a chair by her window reading.
she closed her book
remembering she had to meet her lady in waiting!
she quickly picked up her light blue skirts running to the garden.
hoping her sister wouldn't scold her for being late.
Natalie smiled. "I'm good. And the day has treated me very well. And you?"
"Well, sir, first Miss Lenore has to present herself. Then we have to watch over the guard change." Alicia sighed, eyeing the doors. "And look, there she is."
Lenoe was running towards them. "You were almost late, miss."
Alicia turned and marched towards the barracks.
(I made this guy up on the fly, I'm going for a mixture of a good-guy version of Griffith from Berserk, and Johnathan Joestar when he was a kid!)
"So basically, we're boring ourselves to death?" Jonah replied, smirking. "At least the Princess' presentation will be an amusement of sorts."
(btw, who is in charge here when it comes to merchants asking for permits to buy and sell in their country?)
s-sorry lenore mumbled
ashamed
she was out of breath from running all the way to the garden.
Alicia rolled her eyes and hid a smile. "You'll be spending your days doing this, Jo- sir, I advise you get used to it." Alicia reminded him. They stopped as the line of soldiers exited the barrack. "All we have to do is sit still and watch. And do not mumble, Lenore."
Natalie watched her sister run out of the castle. She smiled. "You're late again Lenore."
