"Can you carry me?" she asked, her legs weak from falling to the floor.
"Can you carry me?" she asked, her legs weak from falling to the floor.
Cicada knelt down and scooped up the little mortal, "It is nothing."
She squealed slightly, hiding her face in her shoulder.
Cicada rolled her eyes and continued walking home.
(Skip to when they get to the place?)
(Sure.)
They were soon at the doors of what seemed to be a regular house, but a tad more gloom surrounding its aura.
Cicada put Nikki on the floor and walked to the house, "Come on. This is my house."
"Ok" she mumbled, stepping into the house. She quickly slipped off her boots and followed her in, the smooth hardwood floors ran underneath her socks
Cicada kept her boots on as she walked in. She walked over to the large red hammock and sat down, "Make yourself at home, Nikki."
"Alright" she replied, going over to the rug that rested in the middle of the room and sitting on it, trying to wipe away stained tears.
(…Cicada wouldn't be one to own a couch. Or a blanket.)
(Oh, Sorry! I just need to know what would be in her…what is it…house?)
(It would probably be a lot smaller than a house, but still look like one. She would have her hammock to sleep, a rug, and probably another spare hammock. Along with like a stone pit with cooking stuff. She's a bit of a minimalist.)
(Alright!)
(Yep!)
"Alright" she replied, going over to the rug that rested in the middle of the room and sitting on it, trying to wipe away stained tears.
Cicada sighed and looked to Nikki as she gestured to the hammock across the room from her, "At the very least sit in the hammock."
(aw heeeeeeelllllll ye can I join?)
"Why'd you bring me here?" she asked, interrupting her in the midst of her sentence.
Cicada sighed again louder this time, "This is where I live, this is where you live starting today. So get used to it Nik."
"Do you have a thing for humans or something?" she asked, once again cutting her off. She wasn't going to stop until she got answers.
Cicada sighed extremely loudly, "No. I just get lonely sometimes."
(i ship this so hard now oof)
"Hm," she replied, going over to the hammock and sitting down in it. "Do you have a guest bed or am I gonna have to sleep in the hammock?" she asked. "And do you have food?" she asked also, hoping she did.
