"What about eating until your sick? Or exploring at night? Camping in the woods? Blasting music? How about something like that?" Joan stuffed another cookie in her mouth.
"What about eating until your sick? Or exploring at night? Camping in the woods? Blasting music? How about something like that?" Joan stuffed another cookie in her mouth.
Nathaniel shook his head. "I'm not supposed to do any of that." Was this a regular thing here?
"Then that's what we're doing. DAD! DO YOU KNOW WHERE I PUT MY STEREO!" Joan shouted.
"THIRD SHELF TO THE LEFT OF YOUR LIBRARY!"
"THANKS!" Joan ran to fish it out, all while her back was to Nash. "You okay?" She asked.
"Er, y-yes. Fine." It made him nervous, honestly, but he resisted the urge to fidget with his wings again. He took a deep breath and waited anxiously.
Soon Joan had it set up and blasting a station-which made no sense, they were underground. Her father had come up with candy galore and kept nudging Nash to try some. Joan begun to pick Nash up and spin him before throwing him on the bed, she did this every time he looked uncomfortable. "Eat! Dance! Jump! Have fun!" She shouted again and again.
This wasn't the first thing that came to Nathaniel's mind when he thought of fun, but he ate some candy anyways. He wasn't a very graceful dancer either since he had never had the need to dance before, so he allowed Joan to guide him. Joan goaded him to keep eating until he felt nauseas and wanted to sit down, looking a shade of pale green. The spinning was definitely not helping.
Joan soon pulled out a mountain of pillows and blankets. She stacked them into the floor and made a fort. "Climb in," She tried, putting away the candy when she felt sick herself.
Nathaniel sat quietly in the fort, the loud music reverberating through his skull and giving him a headache. Did people actually find this fun? He just felt dizzy and ill.
(I gtg to bed now, see you tomorrow ^^)
Joan shut off the music and lights. She had constellations on her ceiling swirling and crackling around in vibrant colors. She pulled down to watch as they fought and danced, swam and sunk. In and out the stars were a mazing of beauty. "Like it?" She whispered.
(BYE)
He hardly heard her, gazing up at the constellations. When he was little, he had always wanted to fly to the stars. He now knew this was impossible, but still thought they were pleasant to look at.
THe constellations continued to swirl and spark as both teens fell asleep. Lucifer walked in the next morning and turned on the lights. He got the stereo playing lowly and set a nice breakfast of french toast on the bed. "Wake up," He called. Joan was up immediately, but continued to lay there lazely.
(Where are you two?)
(Joan's tower in the underworld. Lucifer-her dad- called you last night and now you can show up)
(Uh huh. Sooooo… How do i get Will to be there?)
(Just us a portal, you have a summon from the king of fallen/demons)
(Alrighty Thanks!)
A portal opened up in front of Will. He stepped through and saw Joan and Nash. "So.. Um… What did I miss?"
Joan stuck up her head, "Oh, hi."
"Hey," Will looked around. "Is it just me or is it hot down here?" He said jokingly.
"Here," Joan said deadbeat. "Its the underworld." Joan erupted into giggles at the look on Will's face. "We-we're, yo-you, really fl-flirting with m-me?" She broke her speech with laughing.
Will shrugged. "I tried."
Joan sobered, "Why?"
"I don't know." Will smiled and stepped forward. "Should I sit on the floor? Or…"
Joan patted the spot next to her. "Here."
