"Ok. I guess."
"Ok. I guess."
Nod, "Good." Joan walked over to Will, her backpack behind him. She leaned over him to reach it, not noticing the position before pulling back. "I'm gonna go change," Joan called while walking to the bathroom.
"That's the second time. " Will muttered. Annoyed that he'd have to be left alone.
Joan came out in a sweater so thick it looked like a pillow. Her hair was a wet mess on her head after a shower, now flowing down her back. She had on boots that went to her knees, spiked and matching to her leather jacket. "Nash, ready to go?" Joan questioned, ignoring Will altogether.
(I don't know what to say.)
(Say something, do something, make Nash do something/ say something Do something stupid, make a bad idea. Try something)
(I'm gonna do something) "Oh, ok…" Nathaniel said sleepily, "Is Will coming too?" Nathaniel rubbed his eyes and started eating.
(Gtg.)
(ok, bye, you gonna be back?)
"No, I don't think so," Joan answered. She didn't even want to go herself, but made a promise that she would not break.
Will sighs and flops back onto the bed. "Go have fun." He says to the ceiling.
(So sorry I was inactive this weekend! I was visiting some family, and wasn't really able to get on. You guys did really well though! ^^)
Nathaniel yawned, still exhausted from the previous night. Sleeping had been difficult; he kept having nightmares about the man.
Joan saw Nash stiffen. Ugh, "You can come. If," Menace danced in Joan's eyes, "You can find a way there."
Will sits up and grins, "where exactly is, there?"
"Heaven." Joan turned, "Right Nash? You said you lived near the fountain of youth?" She begun to smirk, knowing there probably isn't a way there.
"Right," Nathaniel replied, unsure and confused as to what was going on.
"You do realize that only angels can enter Heaven, not half-demons." Will shifted, the bed made a squeak. "I can get up there, so can he. But you," Will glares at Joan, "probably don't have a chance."
Nathaniel looked confused. "Why can't she? I thought Lucifer himself was an angel at one point, wasn't he?"
Will looks kindly at Nash. "Yeah, he was. But he's not respected in Heaven."
"I can fly above," Joan pointed out. "I just can't land." Her mood plummeted,- having forgot that tidbit- it was the one place she wanted to see.
"That's terrible! You shouldn't be banned just because of your heritage, that's not your fault!" Nathaniel gestured with a fork, clearly irritated. He always felt that was stupid, discriminating against someone because of their parents.
Joan shrugged, secretly agreeing. "Not the point." She turned to Will, "How are you getting there?"
Will's grin returned, "I have my ways."
"Nash, do you think you could still fly if I dropped you from a big enough height? Your wing is healed back to normal." Please work, please work, Joan chanted silently.
"Er, I-I don't know. I'm not sure whether I remember how. It's been a long time…" He looked back at his wings.
"I was alway told once you learn you'll never forget. But, if it makes you feel better I'll drop with you. Catch you if you can't do it."
