"I came to find Nathaniel." Will corrected her. "I did want to see you too. I found a new Fallen yesterday named, Patch. He disappeared not long after. Have you seen him?"

Haven't even heard of him." Joan was disappointed, but denied showing it. "Nash!" She called. Joan felt like a cave opened into her chest and was ready to fall in, but ridiculous, right? "What made you think Nash was with me anyway? I could have ditched him."
"Hmm." Will felt really bad for Patch.
Joan noticed a change in mood, "But," Joan whispered, thinking now is not the time for loud words, "What did he look like?"
"Umm. He had brown hair. He was wearing a white shirt and brown khakis. Other than that, I've got no clue." Will sat down on one of the beds.
"Stay here tonight, I'll rent you a room. We'll go looking for this Patch tomorrow morning. Deal?" Joan had no idea why she was doing this, with priorities like teaching Nash, it was a distraction. But she couldn't help herself, and dear God she wanted to do this.
(GTG>BYE!!)
(K, you gonna be back later??)
(yeah, I'm back now.)
(Good night everyone!!!! Have sweet dreams!!!)
(Thanks! I might not be on later today.)
(ok)
(I'm back!)
(HI its your turn!)
Will nods, "thank you for all your help. I haven't been around young kids in awhile and I lost him." Will looks up at Joan with his eyes watering, "what if he's dead?"
Joan's heart tugs at Will's eyes. She didn't want him to feel pain, Joan was certain he had felt too much all ready. "I'm sure he's fine," She spoke softly, unsure if it was true.
Will lets the tears stream down his cheeks and drip onto his lap, I've never cried before. Why now? he thinks to himself.
Joan grabbed Will's arm and started pulling him to the bathroom. She needed to stop his tears. "What's your favorite animal?" Joan sat him down on the toilet lid and kept asking questions like, 'What's your full name?' 'What's the one place you want to live?' 'What's your favorite food?' And such along those lines while she whipped his tears, checked him for injuries, and found him a pare of clothes. She left saying, "You can be in the room across the hall if you want. If you're not comfortable alone you can come in and sleep in here." She just wasn't sure where.
Will shakes his head, "no. I can't be alone right now. I'll find a blanket and sleep on the floor."
"No need," Joan nervously took a step back, "I'm sure we can share, give Nash his own space." Hex, she thought, What did I just do?!
"Sure." Will takes his new clothes back into the bathroom and changes.
"Hell," Joan whispered to Will's back. Joan was a mess, she knew she was, and she doesn't have time for this. Joan then remembered her father. "Seriously, hell." She collapsed to the bed.
Will emerges from the bathroom wearing a tight cotton shirt and plaid Pj pants. "Hey, you ok?"
"Yeah, just worried about my dad," Joan shook her head, "Not a big deal." Joan looked stressed with circles under eyes from the past few days and a dim look in her eye. But she threw on a plastic smile and stood up.
"Why would you be worried about him? He's done nothing good to anyone." Will smirks, "I know that you're stressed, tell me what's wrong."
