Vaughn frowned as he listened in, watching the pair with a sharp glare.

"Bad news? what bad news?" She asked.

“Well, it depends. Between you and me, do you like the government?”

"depends… Not really.." Bella said.

“Good.” Kailey said, “So I have bad news for you.”

"well… What's the bad news?"

“Execution.”

“I told you so!” Haven hissed, standing up. She seemed to be acting out of character for a moment, then calmed down. “When is it?”

“Nine o’ clock AM is the execution and 11 o’ clock AM is the trial.” Kailey sighed.

Vaughn tensed sharply. Things were going straight to hell at this point for them. He had to get out of this damn cell.

“Maybe… oh. You chose the cell with no camera.” Kailey smirked, “Smart. Where’s the spare key?”

She bit her tongue in order to not give their plan away to Kailey. Starting to pace, she exhaled and continued worriedly thinking,

Vaughn stayed seated, watching Haven. He fiddled with his sleeves and bit the inside of his cheek in thought.

"I already knew all of this. Tomorrow is the execution. Do YOU like the government?" She asked.

Kailey looked around, there were no guards. It was silent. “No, I really don’t like the government.” She admitted, twirling the end of her ponytail.

Arabella smiled warmly. "good. Because you have to listen close, I need you to help me with something…"

Kailey walked over to the cell, “This had to be the most rusted cell in this country.”
