@A5_ WICKED
Jordan looks very confused, "What was your first impression? A weirdo? I agree with that then."
Jordan looks very confused, "What was your first impression? A weirdo? I agree with that then."
"Not exactly no." They mumbled, tugging at the ends of their hair. "My first impression was that you were someone who just wanted to be left alone, and so I did do for a good 12 years. But now I'm thinking that you didn't actually want to be alone, but I could be wrong on that too."
Jordan stares at him, still confused. To say the least he had no idea how to respond to that, "Uh. Ok?" How do I human?
"I don't express these things often you know." Kale grumbled, running their hands through their hair, pushing it out of their face. "Anyway… What do you think about the window situation?"
"I'm- I'm not sure." Jordan shakes his head, trying to clear it, "Maybe we should try like a diversion to test it. Or something because anything like that I do not trust in the slightest."
"What sort of diversion do you have in mind?" They raised one eyebrow, slightly intrigued. "Like a fight, that would take up the most attention."
"No. If it a trap. We have to test it." Jordan rubs the bump on his forehead
"So sending one person down there, on their own?"
"Exactly." Jordan takes a deep breath, "And I volunteer as tribute." He raises his three fingers. he smiles slightly at the reference but immediately his muscles started to hurt from not ever doing that in his life
They gave a very disapproving look. "Did you just- Never mind. I mean if you're willing to go then far be it from me to stop you. You know how to get there?"
"Nope! And it isnt like any one would notice if I disappear." He shrugs, already thinking of 'his last words.'
"I would…" They averted their gaze from Jordan, sighing into their hands.
"Really?" Jordan looks around awkwardly as if looking for instructions on what to do next
Kale slowly rose their head to look at Jordan. "Yes. Look I don't always show that I care, and I don't know why I'm even saying this to you. Even though I never spoke to you in the 12 years I've known you, I still know things. Like the PTSD, the fact that all your foster families gave you back, the fact that no one treats you like you amount to anything. I can't pretend to know what goes on in your mind, but if you're feeling lonely and you're thinking of ending your suffering, I want you to at least know that I will be here for you as long as you need." They could feel their eyes welling up, mainly from anxiety - they didn't make it a habit to express their thoughts and feelings in detail - but they couldn't help but smile weakly. "I feel a little embarrassed now."
Jordan was speechless. He had frozen in his steps, mouth wide open and stares at the other, "Holy- Shit." He didn't move a muscle.
"W-what? What's wrong?" Their face was contorted with worry and confusion.
Jordan spreads his arms slightly, "How? What?" He chokes slightly, running both of his hands through his hair. He turns away as his eyes start to well up
"Was it something I said?" They started panicking, not sure what to do or say.
Jordan leans his head on the opposite wall, furiously rubbing his eyes, "No! Totally not!" His voice was higher then usual.
Kale sighed. "This is why I don't express feelings and emotions properly, I get mixed responses and then start feeling like I have done something wrong. You know you can tell me what's on your mind, I am here after all."
Jordan chokes at that, covering his mouth. He bangs his head on the wall slightly. His hands shaking. (He isn't used to any interaction at all so this is very new to him. That is why he is reacting like this. Just clear it up a bit.)
(Ah okay)
Kale slowly approached Jordan, still shaken from what they'd said. "I'm sorry, I realise this must be a new thing for you… Uhm…" (Kale doesn't exactly know how to react, oof)
(Jordan doesn't either XD
Jordan turns away again, his hand still covering his mouth, "Yeah no kidding." He shivers slightly
"Would it be better if I gave you some space? I'm sorry, I'm clueless when it comes to situations like these, and I don't want to say the wrong thing and make it worse."
"You didn't do anything wrong. I just. Wasn't prepared for it." His voice was still a bit high but he turns toward the other with a slight smile. He crosses his arms
