Locke sat underneath a tree as he read his book. It was Alice in Wonderland. He had Alice through the looking Glass next to him. He flipped through the pages at quite a fast rate. He wanted to make sure he knew as much about Wonderland and the Jabberwocky as he could so he would know what to expect. Even though he had already technically been there.

Thalia looked at her phone and sent iut a quick message in the group chat. 'just about to leave for the cafe.' She sighed and locked her phone, making her way to the cafe.

Maddie had turned down Chess’s offer to skip and went on with her classes for the rest of the day… because she had to. But she had a harder time focusing than normal as all of she could think about was Wonderland and what her new friends would be like. As the final bell rang, she ran as quickly as she could back home. Once safe in her room she dumped out her backpack then repacked it. She refilled her four thermoses, and grabbed a few extra shirts, the first aid kit she had hidden under her mattress, a couple spare socks, some snack bars and two tall water bottles. She may be crazy but she wasn't insane. ”This trip is going to hurt.” she mumbled finally heading to meet everyone at the park.

Chess had…yes, skipped the entire school day. He didn't want to bother with such things like that. Sitting in a boring class, surrounded by a whole bunch of idiots? Uh, no thank you.
At the end when everyone was dismissed he slipped behind the school and drove to the park on his motorcycle. He didn't really feel like walking today.

Alexander changed into one of his favorite sweaters and jeans with the red Converse he always wore, as well as his watch. He headed to the meeting place, hoping the others would be there. He didn’t want to late…again.

(oof, I thought it was a cafe lol)

Thalia walked to the park and sat under a tree with her phone in hand. She opened her music and grabbed a book, deciding to read while waiting for them.

Chess pulled up to the park, parking his motorcycle right next to a tree, which had a kid right under it. Hopping off, he slipped his helmet off, revealing his crazy blue and black hair with a tinge of purple in it that showed up a lot more in the sunlight. He took the keys, twirling it in his finger with the hand that had the cat tattoo on it. "Now time to wait I guess," he says sitting on a bench nearby.

Maddie’s smile was just a bit nervous as she walked into the park not sure how she would find the others. The only one she knew was Chess… And, maybe, Alexander, if she was right about what she read on the message that Chess had shown her. As she was looking around, walking in wide spirals as she did, she noticed a small group sitting near a tree. She smiled bigger when she recognized one of them. ”Hey, Chess!” she shouted, hoping to catch his attention.

After a few more minutes of waiting Locke stood up and decided to go looking for the others. He eventually found some other people at the bench. He didn't know if it was them so he simply went over, sat down on the bench and began to read again.

Chess waved at her but didn't say a word. He looked over to the guy that came over, who was…reading?
who would read at a park? What a weirdo! he thought to himself as he studied the stranger. We're they one of them? Well, he wasn't about to ask.

Thalia looked up from her book to see a small group of people had formed around a cluster of trees and went to go join them. "Uhm, hello. I'm Thalia. Are you guys from the website?" She asked

Alexander arrived there, hoping he wasn’t late. He scanned the vicinity for Thalia, finding her under a tree with a couple of other teens. “Yo Thalia!” he called, pushing up his glasses as he hurried over to the others, locking his car quickly. “Is this them?”

Thalia shrugged, her jacket slipping off her shoulder. "Not sure I only just I troduces myself and was waiting for the answer."

Maddie turned to the other two people nearby and tipped her hat showing off her teacup tattoo. ”Which website do you mean, Thalia?” she smiled teasing. Maddie rarely used the Internet so she was hopeful she was one of the new ”Wonder-friends”.

Locke looked up when he heard the website. "I figured that a group like you would be the right one." He said shutting the book and standing up.

"I see so Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is all of our favourite story?" She grinned, raising her sleeve to show the flower on her wrist.

"oh, lucky me" He says looking at everyone as he still twirled his keys on his finger. They all seemed really interesting. Hopefully tey werent as stupid as most of the people he met.

Locke pulled up his sleeve and held it up so everyone could see his caterpillar mark.
”It is really quite an interesting book. Though if I do say so, I act nothing like how I'm supposed to in the book.” He said as he picked it up.
