Alexander adjusted his glasses. Well, I was checking my phone for updates about a group of kids who all have strange dreams about Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland just didn’t seem like something he could share. “Oh, just waiting for my friend to text me back,” he half-lied, hoping she couldn’t tell. He was an okay liar, but his tell was the way one side of his mouth always curved up slightly when he lied. And sometimes when he half-lied too, unfortunately.
Thalia nodded suspiciously and picked up her headphones, accidentally hitting a fresh bruise from her dreams. She cursed under her breath and rubbed her arm before standing straight. "Want to hang out after class? We haven't seen each other in so long."
“Um, tomorrow would be great but I already have plans today,” he replied. That was true, thankfully. Alexander noticed the way that Thalia flinched when getting her headphones curiously. “Are you okay?”
"Oh nothing, I just have this horrible bruise from last night. It's on my arm and I didnt have it before last night." She said
That piqued Alexander’s interest. “Really? How’d you get it?” he inquired innocently.
"To be honest I'm not sure, it matches a bruise I got in my dream by that's ridiculous." She laughed. Her phone buzzed and she checked it to see a message from.her friend.
Alexander’s stomach dropped. “Yeah, what a crazy coincidence,” he mumbled, thinking for a moment. “By any chance, did that dream take place in Wonderland? Like, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland kind of Wonderland?”
Thalia thought for a second before nodding "yeah, but how did you know that?" She asked, taking a step back suspiciously

(still here)
"Uh…no it's my real name…. and that's interesting." He says climbing the shelves quickly, standing on top for a second, looking down at the Maddie for a second before letting out a little laugh, then seemingly disappearing.
Maddie chuckled at the Cat’s antics, a little glad that she had met someone who appeared as crazy as she did. ”Have you found any of the others? I know there's five of us but, like I said, I only found you so far.”
"Ha, well come here and I'll show you something," he says with a little smile from the other side of the bookshelf. He plugged in one of the computers into the wall and turned it on, creating a luminous bright blue glow throughout the small space. He clicked on the site that he had talked to the caterpillar and the rabbit.
Thalia opened the link her friend had sent her while she waited for Alexander's response. The link took her to a supernatural site where one of the most recent posts was one about someone having a dream similar to that of her own. She couldn't hide her shock and decided to comment on their post.
'hey! I too had a dream almost exactly the same as yours. Message for more details.' she sent
Maddie raised a brow and followed his voice around the shelf. ”What is it, Chess?” she asked looking at the screen.
"Well this Love, these are the others…. so far anyway. The caterpillar and the rabbit as far as I know."
He says scrolling through group chat, then going to click on the private messages between just him and the rabbit.
"I don't know who this actually is but…. I did find out that they all live in this town." He says as he twirls around in the spinning chair to face her. His elbow on the chair as his cheek leaned against his hand. A little bit of hair falling in his forehead. His little smirk curving up his lips as his lip ring shone in the light just a little bit.

At the same moment she sent a reply, Alexander’s phone buzzed. He glanced at it before looking back at Thalia, his eyes widening. “No way,” he mumbled. “Thalia…you just messaged me.”
Maddie quickly skimmed the messages Chess was showing her. ”Well, the rabbit says his name is Alexander… not really smart of him to put that information in here but… Hang on! There’s an Alexander in my math class. Kind of a shy fellow. Do you think…?” she trailed off looking at Chess.
Thalia looked up in mild horror, and took another step back. "That's impossible. You get the dreams too?" She asked, shoving everything in her bag and putting it on so both her hand were free
"Maybe," he says with a shrug. He grinned slightly just thinking about it. Finding the others and going on an adventure with all of these people. It sure was going to be interesting. And for the most part….he was quite excited.
”We should probably tell them that you found me and all that’s left is to find our Alice. Maybe ask if they go to our school. It'll be easier to meet if we do.” Maddie said with her usual mad grin.
Thalia looked up in mild horror, and took another step back. "That's impossible. You get the dreams too?" She asked, shoving everything in her bag and putting it on so both her hand were free
Alexander nodded slowly, trailing his finger along his scratch from last night. “I got this from one of those dreams…” he mumbled. “So you have the dreams too. I’ll add you to the group message. So we only need one more person now, since I found two others.” He added Thalia’s account to the chat.
”So I found our Alice!” he sent.
He turned back around in the chair when the computer let out a ding sound. A message popped up in the chat. "Oh? I think we've found our Alice" he says typing a sentence of his own. "I've found the Mad Hatter- Cat"
He pressed send and twirled back around with his Cheshire smile.
Thalia recieved a message and checked her phone, deciding to send a message in the chat, she took a picture and posted it. 'Hey, apparently I'm the Alice. I've got the flower on my wrist.' She sent
Alexander grinned. ”Great, that’s everyone. We still on the for the park?” he added. He turned to Thalia. “Well, this is great! I guess we will be hanging out today, after all!”
