Anna bit her lip. "Guess that works." She said, shrugging and walking over to him.

Locke sighed. "You could of just asked him instead of making a scene." He explained.

"No once else is here." She pointed out, stopping to face him. "Besides, I don't think he heard."

"I heard." Locke mumbled under his breath.

Alexander stifled a smile at the exchange. “We can’t do anything about it now.”

"Oh we can. Just whether it's in the legal boundaries or not it the problem." Locke said, completely monotone but he did have a smile tugging at his lips.

Anna walked up to kid, tapping his shoulder. "Excuse me? Sorry, we're looking for someone, we think you might be them…"

Alexander smirked. “I stand corrected.” He adjusted his glasses.

Kai undid his earbuds, heavy metal coming out of them quietly, that explains why he couldn't hear the crazy lady's outburst. "Hm? Sorry. What'd you say?" He asked, an eyebrow raised and his voice a bit agresive, he was not getting mugged in the park today.

"Well, see, we're looking for someone…" She trailed off, suddenly realizing she had not thought this through.

”Well, that's just rude.” Maddie huffed, crossing her arms in annoyance… She didn't like being ignored nor did she find Locke’s joke funny. Seeing that Anna trying to talk to the ”cat” not go so well she mentioned to the two boys, ”One of us should help her out but not all of us. If we all get too close the ground could open under us without giving him an explanation.”

"If you describe them, I can tell you if I've seen them. I've been here for a while." Kai offered, turning off his music.

"…They have a cat on their hand." She said, saying the first thing she could think of.

“Well, um, actually? We don’t know what they look like,” Alexander explained. “This is going to sound crazy, but we’ve all been having the same dream, and there was a note that said we need to find one more person?” He sighed. He was not doing a very good job at this.

"A dream you say? A cat on their hand?" Kai stuck his hands in his jacket's pockets, raising his other eyebrow. "What drugs are you on? You all look too young to be taking drugs."

"I know it sounds crazy." She said, tugging at her sweater sleeves. "But it's true, I swear."

“Maddie can you do your vision thing? Is that an on-demand type of thing?” Alexander asked, trying to sound the least amount crazy as possible.

Maddie blinked thoughtfully for a moment. ”I don't know. I never tried to use it on purpose… Try showing the stupid cat the note.” she called over hoping to be helpful without getting close at the moment. ”I guess I could try… Don't really know how though, sometimes it just happens.”

“Oh, right! The note!” Alexander exclaimed. He took his (very crumpled) note out of his pocket. “Did you by any chance find a note like this when you woke up?”

"I'm not sure what type of drugs Maddie is on but I do know we are looked for a vanisher." Locke tried to explain, knowing he also sounded insane.

Anna nodded. "Right! The note! We all got one!" She said.

"You guys are crazy. Did you plant that note in my room? How did you even find my house?" Kai's voice was frantic.

"No! We swear, we aren't crazy!" She said, racking her brain for proof. "Look, so you remember what the note said?"

"Ahh. So you're our vanisher." Locke said, paying no attention to how much Kai freaked out. "Now the only thing we need to do is find the rabbit hole but I'm pretty sure Anna can do that."

Maddie was so insulted by Locke’s comment that she took her fedora off and smacked him over the head a few times with it. ”I’m not on anything, you blue jerk! The only thing I take is tea, thank you very much!” She angrily put her hat back on and marched away from the stupid boy, still keeping a distance she deemed safe from the others.
