Marlowe sighed. "You're right but I don't know how to fix it. Instead of doing anything about it I lash out at innocent people who never did anything to me and then convince myself that they're the mean ones and hurt people just to make them feel as shitty as I do all of the time." She put her hand in her heads. "Forget it. It's not your problem. Your friends are probably always there for you and your parents probably see you as more than something to brag about to their friends." She took a deep breath. "You don't deserve all the crap I've put you through, including this."

(Were they walking? I think they were. If they weren't I'll just edit it.)
Lila thought for a second, then looked at Marlowe. "You need new friends. If they're not there for you, you really need new friends." They got to the classroom door. Lila looked at it. "So, um I guess we're here."

Marlowe looked a bit sheepish. “Right, well, thank you,” She said, taking a deep breath before her usual sardonic smirk came back to her face. “And don’t tell anyone about this, please?”

Lila raised her hands. "Hey, I won't if you won't." She opened the door for her and gave a small smile, the last she would probably give her in a while. "After you."

Marlowe nodded slightly, strutting back into the classroom. It was almost as she had transformed, becoming the cold and comtemptous girl she had been only a few minutes previously. She glanced around the classroom dismissively.

Adresin laughed, looking behind his back to see if anybody was following him. He stopped, bumping into a strange surface.

"What the hell?" He said, looking up, only to be met with his father, blood draining from his face, "Oh, uh, hey coach."

The large elf let out a growl, his arms crossed over his chest.

"I-uh, I can-I can explain." He squeaked out, shrinking in his place, "I was just, getting ready for…track?"

His father sighed, patting his son on the shoulder.

"What did I say about stuttering, kid?" He asked, a smirk, almost identical to his sons on his face, "And stand up, you're gonna hurt ya back."

Adresin let out a relieved sigh, running a hand through his hair.

"Nice job in the biology room, now I gotta clean up your mess." He joked, shoving his son lightly out of the way, "Now get back to class, and be home before dinner!"

The ravenette watched his father go, nodding to himself, before searching for Marlowe.

Halo sighs as he exits his classroom. It was currently his free period so he went to the gym, hopefully he could be left alone while he worked out.

"Hey boo!" Adresin said, throwing his arm around Marlowe's shoulders once again, "You okay?"

“I’m fine,” Marlowe replied, smiling at him. “My mom just sucks.”

Adresin set frogs loose in the biology classrooms as a prank, and Marlowe’s mom embarrassed her by being a jerk in front of Lila so they talked about it and Lila said she wouldn’t tell anyone then they got back to class.//

Halo sets to work, humming softly as he does so. He shrinks his wings into his back, wincing a little as he does so.
