"Can you come out with me? A friend of mine is here to help you guys out," Lata began to explain, before coughing a bit. Darn, Orion's aura is strong…
"The aura is coming from him actually. Don't worry, he's just making sure Mrs. Quill is on her best behavior as well," she added with a smirk. Lata stood up, opening the door.

Lucy smiled, shaking her head again, but grimaced softly and stopped when pain shot up her neck. “Neither of them. You’ll have to make me some if you’re ever given permission to use the oven.”
The kids stayed seated, looking up at Lata. “All of us?” The slightly older boy asked, his brow furrowed.

"Then I'm making lava cakes when Orion and Lata get back," Sam decided, chugging the rest of his tea. He was starting to feel drowsy, but decided more tea was the better option. He got up to make more, silently hoping that Orion wouldn't kill him if he accidentally drank half a box's worth

"Castor, dear…" she said to get his attention. It all felt so weird to have to act like her father figure was her husband.
