Lucy released a brief, slightly forced sounding laugh. She looked over at Cas with a faint smile. “He doesn’t understand anything, does he?” She asked in a slightly joking tone while petting Sam’s mane.
Lucy released a brief, slightly forced sounding laugh. She looked over at Cas with a faint smile. “He doesn’t understand anything, does he?” She asked in a slightly joking tone while petting Sam’s mane.
(ah yes, petting fire is a thing you can do lmao) Cas chuckled, shrugging. "He's dense, but now that I think about it…He's not normally this dense. Or accidentally dirty minded." He squinted at Sam. "Are you feeling alright?" Sam ignored him in favor of curling happily into Lucy's lap
Lucy look down at Sam with an arched brow. “You’re lucky I’m a cat person,” she said, scratching behind one of his ears. But Cas was right, she had never seen Sam acting like this.
Sam purred happily, seemingly smiling. If he wasn't acting like a cat right now, it would look vaguely creepy what with his ridiculous amount of teeth. Cas frowned. "Hey, Sam? Ya mind going human for a moment?" Sam looked over his shoulder, leering at Cas before returning to being an attention hog in Lucy's lap
Lucy looked over at Cas again, mouthing ‘What’s wrong?’ She kept her eyes on Cas to catch a response as she continued to stroke Sam lightly. Her smile faltered, though.
Cas shrugged, and Sam purred loudly as he snuggled more into Lucy's lap. Suddenly, small cracks began to grow along his body. He seemed not to notice or care though, enjoying himself in Lucy's lap
As Lucy pet Sam, she began to notice the cracks. Her hands jerked away from him as her eyes widened. “Somethings wrong,” she said, a slight stammer in her tone.
The cracks spread suddenly, and in a small flash Sam was sitting in Lucy's lap, arms wrapped loosely around her neck. He was dressed differently, and seemed younger somehow. He adjusted his glasses a little, grinning. "Everything's perfectly alright, love," he said, flashing a grin
Lucy’s eyes widened as she looked at Sam, cheeks slightly flushed. “How are you-? Oh god..” she said, finding it slightly difficult to grasp the words. How the hell did he just get younger?
Sam smirked down at her. "Aww, what's the matter? Cat got your tongue?" he purred
(Oh my god I’m screaming and I’ve gotta go study for exams RIP)
Lucy quickly shook her head, the back of her neck feeling hot, but realized that probably wasn’t helping. “You are definetly not thinking straight with all of this,” she said, a nervous laugh escaping her mouth. Why in gods name was Sam acting like this?
"Well, that's probably because I'm not straight," Sam chuckled, fiddling with his loose red tie. "Now that you mention it, I am looking a couple trillion years younger. Guess that's what a soul does to you," he said, a purr creeping into his voice again
Lata had no idea if she liked this new version of Sam or not. He seemed less irritable but much more dirty minded and flirty. Was getting younger a weird side effect from getting his soul key back? She set her head down on the table, finding Sam's method of flirting a bit disgusting. She liked it better when everyone was relaxed in the living room just hours ago.
(I'm lowkey tempted to leave him like this for a while, especially to see Orion's reaction lol) Sam slid out of Lucy's lap, adjusting his glasses again. "Well, hate to leave you all hot and bothered, but coffee sounds lovely right about now," he said before walking over to the coffee machine. He seemed far happier than normal for some reason, and he tapped his foot to the tune of some swing song he was humming, busying himself while he made coffee
"Cas, what the hell is wrong with him?" Lata asked. She decided that this Sam was most likely not going to sit well with her. It just felt weird. She watched him get his coffee. A, he was much too chipper, b, he was so dirty minded, c, she had no idea how to feel about his flirtiness. It was nice to see him happy, but it was odd to see him this happy.
Sam came back to the table, coffee in hand. He glanced over at Cas, staring at the wood along his arm. "You wouldn't happen to have some whipped cream in there, would you? Maybe some chocolate liquor?" Cas scowled at him.
"I am not humoring your expensive tastes while you're a couple trillion years younger for whatever reason," he huffed
"Thought you liked it black," Lata commented, remembering Sam getting defensive over it just moments ago.
"Well I prefer it black with liquor in it, but seeing as how that's usually frowned upon among commoners such as yourself," he said, gesturing absently with his hand, "I don't normally get to indulge."
Lata simply glared at Sam. It pissed her off that he was acting above everyone. He also disregarded the fact that Lucy was just upset moments ago, deciding that being a dirty minded flirt was a better use of his time.
Sam looked over at Lata, noticing her irritation. "Oh, give me a break. You try going a couple million years without a soul, see what good it does you," he said, sticking his tongue out at her. Cas sighed before unlocking one of the drawers in his arm and offering Sam a flask. Sam went to grab it, but Cas yanked it back.
"Apologize to Lata for being a douche, and then I might give you the alcohol."
(Freaking Sam is triggering me lol)
(I'm sorry, he was a flirty rich douche when he was younger)
(Lata: SAM, YOU ASS, MIGHT I REMIND YOU THAT YOU WERE THE ONE WHO LOST YOUR SOUL KEY IN THE FIRST PLACE
Also it's cool. Just means Lata can get a bit salty and sass back Sam)
Lata really wanted to snap back at Sam, but decided not to in the current moment. If he was gonna be a douche, then so could she. Just not now, only because she wanted to hear how Sam would give his apology. She assumed it would be half assed and fake.
(just realized how late it is and that my computer's at 10% so nighttttttt)
