(I just skimmed through the entire history of Chevy Impalas and I've never been so disappointed)
(Why did you do that)
(Shin, just why)
(well we have to do a presentation about cars, and I was originally gonna do mine on Impalas but my partner wanted to film himself changing a tire instead. so I was just killing time and I am honestly confused and disapointed as to how Impalas went from pimp cars to ugly to back to pimp cars to pretty to gross to SUVs)
(oh)

(Okay I’m like bored as hell and I don’t want to study for exams so I’m going to say that Lucy explained to Orion what that was all about (Basically that about a year ago, she had a baby named Clarice with that other guy, but the baby had unnoticed heart issues and died just a week later. So, she had the baby buried at the base of the willow tree, which is why it has so much sentimental meaning to her))
Lucy had gone back to the cabin with Orion, feeling mentally exhausted. When explaining what had happened with Clarice, she had broke down in sobs at least twice. Instead of going into the kitchen, she went into the bathroom and splashed water on her face to try and calm down. The skin around her eyes looked red from crying, and they stung. What excuse could she make up for that? She looked at her bruised wrist and moved it a bit. Nothing felt broken, but it sure hurt like hell.
Lata pulled the food off the stove, happy it didn't burn. She felt quite proud actually. Hearing the door open, she saw Lucy rush by and Orion just behind her. Not needing to worry about burning anything any longer, she followed Lucy, stopping outside the bathroom. No way was she going to do anything along the lines of what happened with Sam and Orion a week or two ago. She just stood there patiently, fiddling with her braid.
She just hoped Lucy was okay.
Lucy had dug into her satchel and pulled out a small makeup bag, covering up the redness with a bit of concealer. She looked at herself in the mirror, tying her hair back into a bun, a few russet locks framing her face. She felt satisfied with herself then and took a sweater from her satchel, slipping it on so the sleeves would cover the bruises. She opened the door and stepped out, but jerked to a stop when she saw Lata waiting there. She mustered up her best smile. “Morning, Lata. Have you eaten yet?”
She simply stared up at Lucy. She knew something was wrong and it gave her a feeling in her stomach she couldn't ignore. She felt upset knowing that the woman who had taught her so much and turned out to be one of her closest friends… who turned out to become part of the family she always longed for, was hurting. If she could do something, then that's what she would do.
At Lucy's question, she shook her head. Lucy's eyes looked red from crying, but the areas around them looked fine. She likely covered it up again.
Lucy watched Lata’s aura shift with unease. Of course she could tell that something had happened. She didn’t know how she could explain with Clarice to Lata. She didn’t think she would cry again if she did explain it, she felt like she didn’t have a single tear left. She thought back to Oliver, the constant smile he had. It just made her wrist ache more, and she felt suddenly fatigued. She just wanted to sleep again. She let out a sigh, dropping the forced smile as she crouched in front of Lata. She took Lata’s hands in her own gently, giving them a light squeeze. “I’m okay, I just saw somone I haven’t seen in a while and it was emotional. That’s all,” Lucy said in a soft tone. She couldn’t bring herself to trouble Lata with the memory of Clarice.
Lata felt that it wasn't the entire truth, but that the rest Lucy just felt uncomfortable with explaining. Maybe it had to do with because she was still fairly young?
"Okay…" she finally said, quietly. It was quite unusual for her to be so quiet. She was usually quite energetic and full of sassy responses. Lata then turned to go back into the kitchen with the others.
Lucy sighed softly, staying crouched on the floor. She had the urge to hit something or someone. She suddenly wished Oliver was there, just so she could hit him as hard as she could like he would do when they sparred. Her mind went to the hex bag in her satchel, and she thought she should have used it on him, watched him choke like she had. Watch his blood drip from his lips just like hers had in the past. But then she felt regretful, remembering the warnings about the violent, dark magic. She didn’t want to be like that, didn’t want to stoop to that level. Tucking a lock of hair behind her ear, she stood and followed Lata into the miserable. She didn’t think she could possibly feel more miserable and exhausted.
Sam, upon seeing that Lucy was upset, decided that it would be a good idea to shift back into a lion and curl up on Lucy's lap. He looked up at her, staring at her for a moment, before licking her cheek. Cas started to giggle again, and Sam shot him a look
//don’t lions have like sandpaper tongues
(yeah but shhhh)
//lmao ok
(lol)
(Whoops lol)
Orion had walked back to his home lost in thought. Damn him. I told that bastard not to come here. He knows he isn't welcome. If he comes again he will know the wrath of a Forest. Shaking himself out of it, he finds himself face to face with an achingly familiar willow tree. Sitting at the base, he runs a no longer clawed hand over the wood, feeling the unease nestled there. "Come greet me." Slowly, the bark peeled back, the face of a child nestled within. It's expression lights up upon seeing him. "I met a lion today, a great beast with a mane of fire, and a feathered worm with wings! Two witches too, with the most amazing laughs, like music!" As he speaks the child's smile grows broad. Making a set of noises that he nods to. Orion sits and talks.

Lucy was a bit surprised when Sam had jumped into her lap. She wanted to stay angry, she shoudn’t be any bit happy at the time. But she couldn’t refrain from giving a faint smile, patting his head. “You’re so needy,” she murmured.
Sam, who had been licking his paw, stopped with his tongue still sticking out. Apparently having his tongue sticking out was just a normal thing he did in surprise, which looked absolutely ridiculous. His brain processed what Lucy said the complete wrong way again, and he buried his face in his paws out of embarassment
