He nodded, cheeks flushed a tad as he repeated his number in his head, "Yeah, I have a phone number." His eyes flicked around and he spotted the hotel up the street, smiling slightly.

She got out a pen and pressed it against her skin. "What is it?" (just say some random number lol)
(Lol that's what I was gonna do)
"Um, 914-275-0040," He rattled off, watching as she wrote it on her skin and fiddling with his umbrella, "I can repeat it again if you need me to, I talk really fast I know."
"No it's fine, I got it!" She smiled at him and did a little bow. "It was nice meeting you, Mr. Sam."
He smiled as well and nodded in return to her, “It was nice meeting you too, Ms. Astra. Thanks for the help and I’m looking forward to that tour.” With another glance up at the street, he realized the hotel was the next building over. Sam glanced at her and waved goodbye, smile crossing his face again as he continued to the hotel.
(Psst we could do a time skip to when Astra texts him-)
(Yeah, that’d be fine with me)
(Cool)

'Hey Alex, it's ya girl Astra.'
Sam had been busy laying around in bed and resting when she texted him, causing him to roll over and grab his phone with a sigh. He smiled slightly when he saw the messages and quickly replied.
‘Heya Astra, whatcha up to?’
Astra smiled, somewhat surprised he answered. Not too many people would actually text her back after all.
'Ah, you know. Just tryna find something to do. Did you have any plans for today?'
‘Nap for a few more hours..contemplate life choices…nope, I’m free.’ He texted, already rolling out of bed and wandering around his hotel room for a clean shirt and pants.
'Ha, I'll be over there in 10 minutes. If you want to see any cool places, write it down!' Astra had already been walking towards the hotel the second he answered.
‘Sounds good, I’ll meet you outside.’ He replied before dropping his phone on the bed, starting some music and getting ready. He grabbed an old, slightly faded, blue shirt and a pair of jeans to go along with it. Finger combing through the messy redness of his hair, he slipped on some shoes and headed to the bathroom to finish getting ready.
Astra was in sight of the hotel. It was a nice, bright sunny day, despite the somewhat chilly temperature. She was quite content that she had made a friend. He is a friend, right? She shrugged to herself, and continued walking until she reached the entrance.
He quickly brushed his teeth and made sure he looked decent before grabbing his phone and money, along with his room key, and heading outside to meet her. As much as he would not say, his goofy smile gave away how happy he was to meet her again and not be alone in the city. With a little half skip- half jog, he walked out the door of the hotel and waved to her.
Astra's entire face lit up when she saw him. He looks cute like that. She waved back at him and did a little run to catch up to him. "Hi Alex!" She giggled, quite happy to see him.
“Hey Astra!” He stopped and smiled, hands fidgeting with the corner of his shirt, “Hows life going?” Already there were too many cars out for his liking, but he didn’t say anything to ruin spending time with only person he knew in this city.
She shrugged. "It's awfully boring, not gonna lie." She gently nudged him with her elbow. "How's life in the big city for you?"
Sam shrugged as well, “Loud, terrifying, but mostly uneventful.” He smiled slightly and looked around, “So, where should we go first? I don’t know any cool places to visit.”
"We could go to Central Park or see the statue of liberty," She looked up as though someone was holding up a list of things to do for her. "Or we could go to Times Square. Or go to an art museum." She sounded like a machine when she listed off the things they could do.
“Maybe Central Park?” He suggested, glancing at her, “I’ve been to everything else, and maybe we could go to somewhere good to eat after that?”
She nodded and linked her arm through his. "Of course! You'll love it there!" She smiled and started walking to their destination.
His face flushed and he tried to say something, eventually just nodding so he didn’t make a fool of himself. A small goofy smile settled onto his face though and he went along willingly and without removing his arm.
"So, do you have a job or anything?" She asked, trying to make conversation. They were close by to the park, but it was awkward for her to not say anything.
“Yeah, I work with computers, that’s one of the reasons I’m here right now,” He replied, the small smile still visible on his face, “What about you? You have a job?”
