"Damn it. Hey, his pissy-ness is directed at me, not you. You ain't gotta worry."
"Damn it. Hey, his pissy-ness is directed at me, not you. You ain't gotta worry."
Liberty barely blinked at Arthur’s outburst, smirking slightly. “Aw, the puppy’s angry,” she teased in a baby voice. “Maybe he needs a snack to calm down?”
Arthur snapped and barked at Liberty before turning to Celeste, "Don't worry, you're not the one who woke me.." he said gently.
"You aren't yourself when you're hungry." She muttered with a grin.
"I-I'm really sorry, I really am. I'm just not used to it, that's all. Know that I've been living in a castle most of my life, so I'm not accustomed to threats, mostly servants and slaves… but it's much better to do it yourself, in my opinion." Celeste has a shy smile on her face, still a bit nervous.
Liberty crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow at Arthur, radiating confidence. “Bite me, puppy,” she said smugly.
Arthur nodded to her, "Then growled at Lillith. "I told you to SHUT UP"
"And look how well that worked."
“Wittle Arthur is angry, how cute,” Liberty teased. She loved poking fun at her fellow teammate; his reactions were just too funny.
Arthur sighed, his eyes suddenly glowing with fury. Putting his left paw forward, the band on it began to glow. "Chaosae!" A violet Aura surrounded both of them, and suddenly the floor broke and a couple of Giant plants enveloped them and lifted them up in the air. Lillith was upside down and Liberty was on her front her legs dangling from the branch from where she was now held. "That'll teach you…" he growled as he left for the Library.
Lillith shrugged and pulled out a knife. "This thyme I came prepared."
“Cool magic trick Arthur!” Liberty called after him, a grin on her face. That was fun. Pulling herself up, she used her fire to burn off the branches holding her, gracefully landing on the ground below.
Lillith finished sawing through the vines and hit the floor with a thud, knocking the air out of her lungs.
Liberty raised an eyebrow at Lilith and offered her hand. “For being an assassin, I would think you would be more graceful,”
"Oh shut up. Plants and the roofs of buildings at night are completely different." She accepted the hand.
Arthur huffed, causing the plants to pick them up again, this time binding their arms and legs too.
Lillith swore colorfully in at least two languages, but didn't thrash.
Liberty mumbled something about ‘getting Arthur back later’ and she used a quick flash of fire to burn the branches from her hands. Before she did her legs, she turned to Lilith. “Do you want some help?”
"I'm resigning myself to my fate. Thanks though."
Arthur growled at Liberty, but left it as he went to the next room.
"Um… Lillith, was it? Do you want help?" Celeste says quietly, standing warily under her.
"Nope. I'm going to live here forever."
"That's kind of, you know, uh, impossible" Celeste stammers. "Really, I can help you down if you'd like. I wouldn't mind."
"You're no fun. Fine then, I'd feel bad charring the plants to hell." She grinned and wiggled around like a fish.
Celeste shot a ball of light, which changed its form to be more flatter, more sharp, and it sliced through the plant like it was butter, first the ones grappling Lillith's legs, then her arms. After it freed Lillith, it dissolved quickly, and Celeste looked out of breath. "That took me years to master," She huffed, "And I still get exhausted afterwards."
