"Nah, they're old already. How 'bout Grace? Short and simple, and common enough."
"Nah, they're old already. How 'bout Grace? Short and simple, and common enough."
"Sounds perfect to me" said Arthur with a nod
Liberty had fallen asleep on the table, light snores falling from her mouth. She hadn’t gotten much sleep last night, and that was evident from the bags under her eyes.
"Sure! I like that." Celeste nods.
"Should we wake Liberty, or let her get some sleep?" Lillith asked, looking over at Liberty.
"Meh, she looks exhausted. Unless she wants to, I'd say leave her be."
"Probably for the best. If I tried to wake her anyway, she might set me on fire. Which would be fun, but I really need to stop ruining my clothes." She sighed, knocking back the rest of the drink in her cup.
Celeste chuckles. "Okay, but whatever you do, don't murder my hair… I take a lot of pride in its long length."
"I'll just leave the hair thing to you ladies" said Arthur leaving the Vial on the table. "Be careful with that, it'll stain skin as well as hair."
"Ladies." Lillith laughed to herself as she dug around a drawer for the scissors.
"Just, don't do anything stupid, okay Lillith?" Celeste was nervous.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"That means don't chop my head off, okay?" Celeste scowls at Lillith.
Arthur sighed, heading out the door and back to the library.
"I don't just cut people's heads off without reason!" She looked shocked at that assumption as she waved the scissors for emphasis.
"Okay, I'm slightly worried about what reason you would need to chop a person's head off. After all, that's probably what you would have done to me if I weren't trying to run away, right? Before you got to know me?"
"Nah, we had other plans. That's technically confidential though, so just sit in the chair and let me work, princess."
"My name is Celeste. I'm no princess, not here at least."
"That's nice." Lillith said, pushing Celeste into a chair. "Plus, I thought it was Grace. Jeez, commit to a role."
"Fine, I should get used to the name, anyways." Celeste sits in a chair after moving it towards Lillith. "No killing me, not yet."
"I'm aware of that. Why would I go through all that effort just to murk you now?" She snipped the scissors a couple of time before shrugging and starting on Celeste's hair.
Scott heard talking and headed to the kitchen to see what they were up to, he walkes in to see Lillith with scissors and Celeste sitting in a chair in front of her. "What's going on in here?" He asked confused, Grey still sat in his hand.
"Murder."
"Oh fair enough" He laughed
"I'm reinventing our little royal here. I want to go out today, and we can't just leave her here." Lillith stated as she cut Celeste's hair.
