William squeezed her tightly. "Nicky, I don't mind…. not at all.." he whispered against her head and he pressed a kiss to her hair. He led her down the steps that opened into a walk room. The whole place was close to a underground mansion. There were lights and tons of hallways. And a big black pit-bull sitting by the steps.

¨You have a pittbull¨ she asked looking up at william with a sparkle in her eyes.

William nodded. "Uh-huh." He whistled and crouched down. "C'mere Duke!" The dog raced over and licked William all over. He smiled and scratched the dog. He then took Nicky's hand. Slowly, he placed it infront of Duke's nose. "Let him see us together, let him smell you and see that your not afraid." He instructed.

Nicky smiled and let the dog sniff her staying completely calm.

Duke sniffed her and then licked her hand. He nudged her legs with his head and jumped onto her. "He loves you…" William nodded with approval. "That's understandable."

Nicky smiled as she pet Duke ¨You are the cutest thing I´ve ever seen¨ she said.

William just watched her. He'd never met a girl like her. All the girls in prison he saw were too reckless, too rude. He wanted someone simple and gorgeous, smart and cheeky. He wanted Nicky more than he was willing to admit.

She looked into Duke´s eyes. She was a dog person she loved dogs and always would.

"Alright, alright, get down boy!" William laughed as she pushed Duke off. "Stop stealing my girl." He took Nicky's hand once more and led her into a living room. There were lounge chairs and couches all over. Then there was a large flat screen TV. He plopped down on the couch, pulling Nicky onto his lap. Duke hopped up on the couch as well.

Nicky leaned back on williams chest and closed her eyes she wasn´t falling asleep but she was resting her eyes.

Duke moved closer to rest his head on Nicky's lap. William ran a hand through her hair as he hit a remote to turn the TV on. He could stay like this forever, he thought as he place the remote on her lap.

Nicky opened her eyes from feeling William play with her hair. Nicky smiled as she petted Duke''s head.She then slowly moved her hand away and leaned back into William´s chest.

"So… when do you want to leave?" He asked looked down at her. He didn't want her to leave but, he knew she had to.

¨I don´t know You can drop me off at the highway and my brother can pick me up¨ Nicky Suggested.

"No." he said plainly, dismissing that idea completely. "I am a gentlemen and I will drop you off at home. It's only a matter of when, beautiful." He ran another hand through her hair. He certainly would not leave her here while he was on jobs. The states he would return in- No! She wouldn't see that…. ever.

¨You can´t take me home¨ She said ¨ My Dad will be home¨ she said.

"I don't really care… Gotta face the man one of these days. But if you feel that way, love…" He shrugged. "Can I dropped you off at a friend's house then?"

¨Yeah uh star´s busy you can drop me off at my friend Mika´s house¨ she said

"Then it's settle." William finalized. He hugged her tightly once more, pressing his lips to her forehead. He didn't want to let her go.

Nicky smiled ¨ I do have to go home soon to take care of my dog¨ she said.

"Okay…" He murmured against her head. "Just let me know when-" he stopped. He looked at her. "You seem like a dog person… I should've know. What kind of dog is it?"
