"Tis I, the bi," Ainhoa piped up.
"Tis I, the bi," Ainhoa piped up.
"Yeah… I need to think up more scenes anyway," Sam said, grabbing their notebook.
Fae sat down with them, shooting concerned looks to Becca. “Alright, we need a name for the heartbreaker.”
"I though about it a bit… how about Cecily?"
“I like it! Original! For the friend, I was thinking maybe Magdalen or Evelyn?”
"I like Magdalen!"
Fae shrugged. “Sure then.”
(You can make up the character for your part guys)
"I can just be one of the students, or an ex." Jamie said, speaking up for the first time since getting there. "We might as well try and make this less terrible than it probably will be."
"My character could be named Tessa," Lau said.
“Stop being so pessimistic!”, she chided. “And sure, maybe both?”
Sam spoke up. "Maybe we can pull a Heather Chandler and have, like, the ghost of the ex who hanged himself- or herself- or themselves- haunt Cecily's conscience?"
Fae shot a look at Becca but smiled along. “Sure, but we need something to make it lighter too.”
"Well, that would be Simon and Cecily falling in love, no?"
“True. Anymore love interests we’re gonna plan?”
Becca listened silently, journal out. She drew and wrote as fast as her hands could manage, covering the pages with colorful flowers and lockets, writing lyrics in loopy handwriting.
Ainhoa noticed Becca writing. "What's that?" she asked lightly.
"Nothing." Becca said absentmindedly. "Just a song."
"An original?"
"Um…………..yeah." Becca said softly. "It's not anything that would line up with the story though."
Sam glanced at the own notebook, trying to be understanding. "Leave her alone. It's okay if she doesn't want to show it,"
"Would you want to help write the lyrics for the play?" she asked gently.
(So I mentioned Heathers to my friend and she screamed this:
"I wanna be J.D. so I can sing cool songs
Blow stuff up
cue all of my friends walking out of the shadows, including me
AND F*CK VERONICA SAWYERS!")
(Lmao. I wish I had friends like that)
"Would you want to help write the lyrics for the play?" she asked gently.
"………………………I could try. But…………..if they get to dark or intense I'll have to back out."
"That's fine, whatever you're comfortable with." She smiled at her.
