"Well, you already spoiled mine." Delilah batted her eyelashes and leaned closer, biting her lip. "Don't kiss me." she said, "I'd rather do that when I actually get to know ya, sugar."

"Well, you have some impressive stilts on you, darling," Gabriel complimented, following her steps with a particular ease.
"why thank you," Alicia crooned, "you're not so bad yourself, y'know."
"A little pre-practice does o harm.." he humored with a sneaking smirk, finding himself enjoying this now. Maybe he should do this more often.
Alicia laughed, swaying and humming to the music, she was happy. She was actually enjoying herself.
He held his broad grin, letting himself relax and enjoy the lively evening with the company of a woman.
The song filling the air of the venue came to a quiet stop, and Alicia let out an exasperated laugh as she let her hand fall from Gabriel's.
"That was…" he took a moment to find the right words, laughing warmly, "The bees knees," he decided definitely.
"Fair enough" Jack looked deep in her eyes
Alicia smiled at the man, "it totally was!"
"Alicia, was it?" He double checked her name.
"yep," She began, looking away from Gabriel for a second, "shit, would you excuse me for a second?" She ran off across the venue, recognizing Jack and the same pretty girl from earlier.
"Well, sure," he blinked in surprise.
She headed out the venue's doors and took in a breath of fresh air, knowing she shouldn't have drank all the drinks she had.
Gabriel found a wall to rest against, becoming figuratively invisible to the crobwd against. Blooming back into a wallflower.
Alicia sat for a few minutes, letting her eyes close and her head clear. After a while, she walked back into the hot, crowded venue and tried to find Gabriel.
Gabriel's head tilted back against the wall, closing his eyes while he waited for Alicia's return.
Delilah nodded, "Mm." she noticed Jack's unwavering gaze and felt her cheeks go hot.
Alicia spotted Gabriel standing against the wall and started towards him.
Jack leaned in to whisper in her ear, his breath blowing on her neck "It's late, we should go."
Delilah smiled, "We should. I guess you're not as wonder-struck as most people would be when they're meeting a movie star."
"If I were as famous as you I know I would be exhausted from everyone's admiration." He spoke in a low voice and chuckled
"True. But it's still nice." Delilah twirled a bit, her skirt flowing.
Jack smiled at her "let's get out of here."
Delilah held out her hand, waiting for Jack to take it.
