A tear escaped her eye. "A-Are you sure…?"
A tear escaped her eye. "A-Are you sure…?"
Davis nodded firmly, "I'm sure."
"Okay…" She wiped off her eyes. "I'm sorry for freaking out I just…"
"It's fine, everyone reacts to things differently," he soothed.
She nodded. "Thank you, I'm glad we're doing this together." Saffi smiled slightly.
"Me too," Davis smiled back, "We should probably take this," he snatched the map from the wall and rolled it into a cylinder.
"Yah. We should probably get going… I don't know how much time we have." She started to walk towards the door.
Davis followed and started to study the map, "It looks like there's a secret basement entrance on the top floor," he said, "A weird place to put it."
"Nobody would think of it, that's probably where we have to go." Saffi leaned over towards him and looked at the map.
"True," Davis agreed, "Well, shall we get going?"
"We shall," she replied. She started walking.
.
(You dead mate?)
(Sorry! I'm back!)
(It's okay!)
Davis followed Saffi out, "So, are you ready to be heroes?" he asked.
"Ready as I'll ever be," she tried to make her voice sound confident but it didn't work very well.
"Heh, well, I'm not," Davis admitted.
Saffi grabbed his hand. "As long as we're together we'll be fine. We'll live together or we'll die together. But at the moment it looks like we're all the innocent people that could be affected by this organization have. I'm nervous, really I am. But I have a strong feeling we're going to be okay." She smiled slightly.
"Thanks, that made me feel a lot better," Davis smiled and squeezed Saffi's hand.
Saffi blushed and squeezed his hand back. "I'm glad."
(AND IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIi WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU heh)
"So, how do we sneak in?" Davis asked.
"Hmmm." She looked at the map and saw an entrance through the roof. "You good at scaling buildings," she said with a smirk.
"I dabble," he smiled, catching on.
