Davis followed Saffi’s lead and looked around at the others there.

Saffi worked her way to the middle of the group slowly as to not draw attention to herself. When she got to where she was almost in the middle she stopped. She was glad that the people were so loud because she let out a breath that otherwise would've caused most people to turn heads.

Davis reluctantly followed Saffi, noticing the people’s weird looks, “What is it, Saffi?” Davis hissed in her ear.

"I just feel…off. I don't know…" Saffi muttered in response.

“Well, too late to turn back now.”

Saffi rolled her eyes and pushed herself finally through to the middle. There was an opening with someone standing at a podium, talking to the crowd.

Davis stayed where he was and stood on his tiptoes to watch, trying to not to turn attention to himself.

Saffi tried to hear what he was saying but it was so loud, and he didn't seem to be speaking English. She turned back and looked at Davis, cocking her head to the side slightly.

Davis listened to the man. It didn’t sound like English nor Spanish, something different. Davis made his way to Saffi, “Do you know what kind of language he’s speaking? It’s nothing I know.”

"I can hardly speak English, so definitely not…" Saffi replied, shaking her head. She bit her lip in thought as she tried to drown out all other noises but the speaker.
