"The ones that were complete lies. Written by people pretending to be your younger selves, to get you both killed," she said, staring at Davis. Saffi put her hand in her pocket but didn't pull it out. She looked at Davis and frowned, wondering if she should trust this woman.
“What do you mean? I don’t have a note,” Davis tried to play dumb again, but he seemed to be irritating her more.
"Don't be dumb kid," the woman said, holding out her hand. "Just…just give it to her," Saffi said, shaking still from fear and pulling out her note.
“And I was doing so well,” Davis grumbled and grabbed his note. He silently ripped it in half. He stuffed one half into his pocket before folding the other half into a tiny square and giving it to the woman.
The woman took it, pulling it away harshly. She shoved the notes in her pocket. "I'm Amiya by the way," she said, looking at Davis and completely ignoring Saffi. "Ummm…" Saffi muttered.
“Why is that important?” Davis huffed. He slightly nodded his head towards the door, trying to get attention away from Saffi so she could escape.
Amiya slightly looked at Davis. "I'm trying to help you, you were deceived by who you thought was yourself. If you don't believe me. You may leave, but you will die," she said, rolling her eyes. Saffi tilted her head to the side. "How'd we even get here in the first place?" she asked, crossing her arms.
Davis looked down and shook his head. Why didn’t she go when she had the chance?
(Bcs she a stubborn person XD)
"You were deceived, as I said. They sent you here to destroy us, saying we were the bad guys, when it was really them," Amiya replied. Saffi shook her head and slumped to the ground. "This is all making me sick…." she whispered.
“How would you know? How can we trust you?” Davis questioned.
"You don't have to…, when I was first told this information I didn't believe it. That we were being thought as something, horrible," Amiya said, her voice lowering, sounding upset. "I…" Sofia started, but stopped talking and looked down.
“Well,” Davis moved closer to Saffi and pulled her up, “I guess I’ll believe it,” Davis bluffed. He whispered so only Saffi could here, “Follow my lead, I’m getting us out of here,” Davis didn’t move his lips much so he could hide the fact he was planning escape from Amiya.
Saffi's face was bright red yet pale. She just nodded and didn't look at him. "I'm sorry that we had to be so cruel…with the darts…." Amiya muttered.
Davis nodded, he whispered to Saffi again, “Stall for a bit.”
"I'm horrible at stalling," she hissed under her breath.
“Then just talk with her,” Davis replied.
Saffi looked up at Amiya and tilted her head to the side. "So umm…this place. What's it called?" she asked awkwardly. "We don't have a name," Amiya answered.
Davis nodded, not listening. He analyzed the best way out of the area.
"Really? You should make one! Maybeeee ummm, the World Changers, or maybe…Oo! Oo! You should call yourself The Unkown!" Saffi said with fake energy. She smiled brightly and tilted her head to the side like a dog. "Umm..that's, maybe…" Amiya muttered, confused.
Davis took the chance. He sprang at Amiya and tackled her, searching her for a weapon.
(Did she have a weapon on her?)
Saffi gasped slightly and backed away. "What are you doing!" Amiya demanded, struggling to get Davis away.
(A small dagger on her belt, but that's it.)
(M’kay)
Davis didn’t answer and found a small dagger on her belt, “Now, you’ll let us go, ok?” Davis smiled, taking the dagger and, still on top of the woman, held it to her throat.
"I'm trying…to help you," Amiya muttered, still struggling. "Davis…don't do anything you'll regret," Saffi hissed.
“And how do we know you’re really helping us?” Davis asked, pressing the knife closer to her throat. He would never kill her, he just needed information.
