(It's ok! Also happy Holidays everyone!!)
(Thats fine and Happy Holidays Everyone!)
Name: Jenestder Glynn
Age:20
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Gay
Appearance: Has dark fluffy brown hair but looks almost like a black in the dark. His hair usually comes to the front and covers up his left eye which makes him have to brush it to the side often. Rocks some wicked charcoal grey eyes with a bored expression as if he's expecting something.
Usual Outfit: Usually wears t-shirts with jeans. Right now he's wearing a black t-shirt that says 'Just Chill' in cursive white letters. He's also wearing this washed black grey denim black biker jeans that are sort of ripped in the knee area, a bit slim fit, and just to tie everything together he wears his all black leather converse high tops. Sometimes if he feels like it he'll slip on his fingerless strapped wrist bracers that go up to his elbows to cover up his tattoos (along with his snapback hat).
Personality: He has a messy personality. He'll be confident one moment and then a nervous wreck the next. Will probably take on any bet 99% of the time, loves doing dangerous things with a straight face (he has a bit of a sadistic side). Acts really indifferently if he gets in trouble with his famous nonchalant look. Will probably flirt with someone if he's interested enough, most people are scared of him because he's known to be 'dangerous'. Doesn't directly picks fights with anyone but if you make the first move he'll fuck you up. Jen's not really that dangerous once ya get to know him. He's got a hella hardcore pessimistic and chill view on things, sometimes he'll display his 'Go to hell' attitude if he's not taking shit that day.
Tools: Pocket knife, a Remington 870, a metal bat/pipe, and a black military backpack with a bunch of stuff he stuffed in there for his survival (like food, water, clothes, etc.)
Special Skill Set:Lockpicking (He does this very frequently to sharpen and enhance his cognitive abilities, he also does it cause it's fun, Jen always likes a good challenge), Classic Car Restoration, Watchmaking and Rebuilding Motorcycles (loves doing research on old antique things and more than anything, fixing whatever he's researching if it's broken) Will occasionally play darts if he's extremely bored
Background: He was in the city when everything went to hell. Jen had just got home from his night shift and had let out a long string of curses when he knew he wouldn't be getting any sleep any time soon. He thought about calling his parent but decided that they could go to hell along with his poor excuse of a family. The only thing that did concern him was his little sister, so he decided to go to his parents' house but has barely made it out of the city since then.
Other: Wears this really colorful pastel necklace that says 'Piss Off' everywhere he goes since his little sister gave it to him. (Thanks dude!)

(Alright we can start now.)
Citizens of the United States, you all know of the uncurable widespread epidemic in Europe, Africa, and Asia known as the Virus. I am here to inform you that unfortunately, the Virus has now spread to North America. I ask you to evacuate your homes and take your personal belongings before heading to the airport. There planes will that you to Government Safe Zones where you will stay for a while until we are able to come up with a cure, I repeat. The message droned in Zarya's ears for the hundredth time as she and Heath were setting up base in a storm cellar beneath an abandoned house. They haven't reached the safe house yet and it was only months after the virus hit.
Victory glanced down at her dog Winnie, watching her pant heavily as they walked down the abandoned highway. She held her gun nervously in her hands as she watched the surroundings for anything that moved. "Well Winnie, where should we go today?" She said softly, looking at the abandoned cars.
"Ah fuck man. Shut up!!" Jen said throwing an empty can of soda at the wall as if that was supposed to help any. He was already pissed to hear that for the millionth time. Jen was walking the opposite way from where the sound was coming from. He was determined to find his sister in his parents' home that was right outside the city and there was no telling him otherwise. He suddenly heard a faint noise come from where he threw the can. He swore under his breath as he made a run for it. He was not in the mood for fighting, not after having stayed up at night for a few days in a row due to his paranoia.
(Is it okay to use swear words? If not I can change what my character says)
( I think it's fine.)
(aight cool)
"How much further until we reach the safe zone?" Zarya suddenly asked out of the silence. She thought that the safe zone would have been closer, but they've been going at it at days now. "I mean even if we get there, would they even let us see Greg, but like he might be infected." She added to her last statement. Things have been pretty boring and they haven't had any run-ins with the infected. Heath and her rigged the perimeter with an alarm to let them know if there were any. Heath gave a frustrated sigh. "Well at the pace we're going, there as might as well be a vaccine already." He snapped. Suddenly, there was a beeping sound from a device. Zarya ran over and check on it. "The alarm." She exclaimed.
Victory continued walking slowly, "So, Winnie, what do you think we'll have to find for dinner today?" She asked jokingly but knowing it was true. Winnie just panted heavily and Victory stopped walking, pulling out the water bottle and sitting down on the highway.
Jen had been walking for a few hours since the night and was getting hella tired so he decided to look for a place to rest- a place that most likely didn't have a swarm of infected people. That was the last thing he needed. So after running for a while, he spotted a gasoline station and casually broke in, searching the place for anything useful. Jen groaned as took off the weight from his back which had his metal bat. As for the Remington 870, now that he had in his hand 24/7, he wasn't about to risk it. Jen rubbed his eyes as they burned from not getting sleep.
Hush was snoozing in some corpse's house when the announcement woke her up. She growled, got up, yawned, and walked out just as the sun showed the top of its head.
What did I miss…?//
(Not much.)
Velius was quiet, scoping out the area. He was tired, dirty and running low on food. Luna whines softly, pawing his foot. He glances at her. "I know girl. I know. We have to keep away from the infected though." He ruffles her fur. He only really showed emotions around her. He only needed his dog. He glances around and sighs before leaping down and heading into an abandoned gas station, knife drawn in case of attack. He breathes unsteadily from his nose, keeping quiet. He didn't know what was out there.
She sighed and stood up, petting her dog momentarily. "We have to keep moving, probably find some shelter and hope that we don't get murdered by a crazy psychopath or a zombie.." She trailed off and shook her head, heading off the highway and onto an off ramp to see if there were any abandoned buildings that they could break into.
Jen stretched out in the openness of the station, then went to the very back and found that there were still perfectly good beer bottles in place. Along with energy drinks. Jackpot. He grabbed a few energy drinks and maybe some beer bottles and went to put them in his backpack. Then cracked a beer open and drank from it absentmindedly, considering that it had only been a few months since the outbreak, it still tasted pretty great. After downing the whole bottle in one go he set it aside and went on to look for canned foods, beef jerky and the like.
Victory grinned when she saw a gas station "Jackpot," She said quietly, flicking her gun off of safety and walking off of the ramp. She got as close to the entrance of the building as she dared before motioning for Winnie to be ready. She flattened herself against the building and tried to look through the entrance as sneakily as she could.
Hush walked for fifteen minutes before she saw an intact-looking gas station. I need food. She dropped into a crouch and approached silently until she could see through the closest window. Wait, there's someone inside.
Jen, who was reorganizing the stuff in his backpack and storing away some junk food, froze. He looked behind him from the corner of his eyes. Were the infected coming to this gas station? It was awfully quiet for it to be those disgusting things. He picked up his Remington 870 in one hand and his metal bat in the other. He may have flunked all his classes in high school and possibly dropped out but he was by no means stupid. He was about to fuck up who ever stepped through that door first- or window either way they were getting owned.
Victory exhaled slowly before jumping out in front of the door and looking inside, not stepping inside but pulling her rifle up to her shoulder and aiming inside. "Hello?" She called softly, Winnie growling menacingly at her feet "Whoever is in there, I have a dog and a gun. Don't mess with me and I'll let you live."
Jen hides behind one of the shelves of food and hears what seemed like a female make demands. He scoffs. "Yea? Or what?" He calls out with a sort of threatening and mocking tone to his voice. "I have a gun as well, don't push your luck thinking I won't shoot either" he said tightening his grip around his Remington 870. "Besides I was here first, maybe you should work on your first impressions"
"Trust me, this isn't the first time I've dealt with someone like you," She said, a cold edge to her voice. She took a slow step into the gas station and went silent, a small scowl on her face "I will get food one way or another, with, or without you living." She muttered under her breath, looking at the first row of shelves for anything edible or useful.
"Woah woah woah sweetheart, no one ever said you couldn't get any food, in fact, be my guest just don't blow my head off is all I'm asking" he said as he slowly stepped out of his hiding place and narrowed his eyes at her, gun still in hand and ready to pull the trigger in case she tried anything.
Victory pointed her gun at him as soon as he came out, glaring at him and trying her best not to sent her dog to attack him "Don't call me sweetheart." She said, her stomach growling slightly "Now, I'm going to turn around and start looking for food. Don't shoot me, my dog doesn't like it when I'm dead."
So I'm really busy since it's Christmas time. And I'm not sure how to do what.//
(Try to get your character to get involved with the action in some way.)
Heath looked at the gadget in Zayra's hand before speaking. "Here I'll go check it out and while I'm at it I'll grab some food as well, ok? " He implied as he went to get his semi-automatic which was leaning against the wall. He was unsure of his desician, but he had to trust his little sister that she could take care of herself. Zarya gave a small stiff nod. "If I don't come back in 2 hours, you know what to do. " He added before heading out. The abandoned world seemed so eerie and unsettling to him whenever he was alone. It reminded him too much of the things he had endure when he was deployed. Only it was happening all over again but worse. Heath tried to clear that from his kind as he made his way to where the distrubance was. Probably just some of the infected. It was at a gas station, but he could hear voices! "Get it together Heath. " He grumbled to himself as he went to check it out.
