Lighter hadn’t expected her to do it. He was flustered, letting out a soft laugh. “You really know how to fluster me don’t you?” He purred, shaking his head.

"I…I'm sorry. I'm so stupid." Hope felt so embarrassed, she wished she had a pillow to hide her face in and cry.
He lifted his head and cupped her cheeks, kissing her sweetly and gently. "I'm not mad." He murmured into her lips, his eyes half-lidded. "You're not stupid, my Hope. I'm just a little embarrassed… Any other man would have jumped at that opportunity." He mumbled, face going red. He let out a soft sound, burying his face in her neck. "But Hell the thought of you like that turns me on so much… I can't bare it."
"Well, um, my parents are out of town, we could go watch a movie at my house." She muttered so soft she didn't know if he even heard. She was so shy and she knew she was with a person who loves her.
His heart quickened its pace. He glanced over at her, biting his lip before pressing a soft kiss to her cheek "I'd love to come over for a movie." She was so carefree around him. It made him both happy and worried. He had little self-control around her. He didn't want to do something she would regret.
She smiled at him. "Okay. Um, do you want to go now?" She shifted s little, trying to get closer to his body. She couldn't help but wonder what they would get up to. But as she thought as long as it was him, she didn't care.
He nodded softly, kissing her sweetly. "Lets go now." He murmured, shivering softly at the thought of being alone with her in private.
She smiled sweetly, kissing the tip of his nose. "Okay, let's go."
(Timeskip to her house?)
"Lead the way, love." He murmured.
(Yeup!)
Hope unlocked the door and heard her lab puppy, Ginger run towards them. "You're okay with dogs, right?"
Lighter smiled at her and nodded. "I do like dogs. But I like cats better." He said with a small chuckle. He loved the strays especially. He glanced over her shoulder at Ginger, biting his lip. "It's so little…" He was used to the bigger dogs the gang often brought with them. He hadn't been around too many little dogs.
"She's only a puppy. Her names Ginger. Let me just warn you, she gives lots of kisses." Hope opened the door the full way and Ginger almost immediately knocked her over to get to Lighter.
Lighter pecked her cheek. "It's a good thing I like kisses, huh?" He teased. He watched the puppy carefully, holding onto Hope as it neared him. He wouldn't be lying if he said he was actually scared of dogs. He saw what they could do to people and it unnerved him. But he didn't want to admit that to Hope. And this puppy looked harmless. "G-Ginger huh? She's cute…" He murmured, bending down slightly to let the dog sniff him.
Ginger sniffed his hand and instantly gave him a big slobbery kiss. She yipped softly in a happy manner. Then she ran out to the yard to sniff all the flowers. "Ginger, come on girl." Hope giggled. "She has a dog flap in the back so we can go and watch the movie."
He visibly relaxed, smiling softly as he wiped his hand on his pants. "Will she be alright outside? He asked, eyeing the sky. "No birds can get her right? She's just so small." He marveled, slowly letting go of Hope as he took off his shoes, not wanting to be rude as he entered into the house, eyes searching every part of the place.
"She'll be okay. She just liked to chase the squirrels." Hope smiled and closed the door behind her. She dropped her flats into a basket near the door. She went to Lighter and took his hand. "What movie do you want to watch?"
"Ah… Alright." He murmured, looking to her as she took his hand. He smiled faintly, tilting his head. "Anything as long as I'm with you." He murmured, kissing her cheek. "What's your favorite movie?"
"Hmmm, I going to have to say Lilo and Stitch." Hope giggled. "Unless you want me to go with a romcom but no guy likes to watch romcoms."
Lighter made a face teasingly. "I would prefer Lilo and Stitch. No romcoms." He chuckled. "Unless you're really set on watching one. Then I'll watch it with you."
"I'm gonna say Lilo and Stitch. How could you say no to a classic Disney movie." Hope smiled, trying to think of where she had last put the movie.
"You can't." He replied, standing a little awkwardly by the couch after he had let go of her hand. "It's nice here." He commented. His own home was dirty and small. He didn't even have a proper bed, forced to sleep on a mattress on the floor. He wasn't ever going to take Hope to his home. He didn't want her to see the abuse he went through.
Hope found the movie and put it into the player. "Exactly. Want any popcorn?" She smiled at him.
He blinked at her, nodding softly. “Yeah I’d love some. Want me to come help?”
"Sure." She smiled at him, offering her hand.
He took it with a bright smile, following her to the kitchen. “Popcorn sounds really good actually.”
