“Of course.” He shifted her up a little, smiling.
“Of course.” He shifted her up a little, smiling.
"Okay, then let me revise what I said. I love you Marcus." Hope smiled, kissing his cheek.
He laughed. “You’re the first person in a long time to call me that.”
"Is that a good or a bad thing?" Hope asked, taking in the fresh air.
“I think it’s a good thing.” He replied, pausing once he found himself next to the playground set. He marveled at how small it was. Had it been that long since he had last visited? He felt giant and old.
Hope smiled. She eyed the swings. She hadn't been to the park since the summer when her cousins were visiting.
“Would you like down?” He asked, trying to look upwards at her.
"Yes please." Hope giggled.
He chuckled, gently letting her down. He pulled her into a tight, playful hug. “I never said I’d let you go though.” He teased.
Hope blushed. "Swings. But being in your arms. The debates!"
He chuckled softly. “Swings sound fun.” He planted a few kisses on her cheek and neck.
Hope smiled and leaned up. "Why are you so tall!"
He laughed. “Am I that tall?” He cooed, leaning down to be closer to her face.
"Yes." Hope pouted and tried to walk away.
Lighter pulled her into his chest, trapping her so she couldn’t walk away. “Aww dont leave.” He teased, kissing the top of her head. “You’re really cute when you’re short though.”
Hope blushed and hid her face. "Shut up." She said muffled into his jacket.
“But you are.” He pouted, holding her close. “I love you.” He murmured, smiling softly.
(EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK I LOVE THIS!!!!)
"I love you too." Hope replied, still muffled by his jacket.
He let her go after a little longer, wishing he could be by her side always. “Should we go play? You mentioned the swings?”
"Yes!" She giggled. She waddled over towards the swings.
He followed close behind, snickering. “Do you need help getting up into the swing?” He teased
(I'm so sorry I haven't been her for a really long time. There is a lot going on with me personally.)
"Haha." She rolled her eyes at him.
(Ah, you’re fine! Are you doing alright?)
He smiled innocently, holding a swing for her to climb into. “Would you like a push?”
(Yes, I am doing a lot better than I was. Thank you. How are you doing?)
"Please." She said with a shy smile. "That would be nice."
