App continued being sick before the torture finally stopped. She slumped onto the cool tile floor, closing her eyes and letting her mind take control. She smiled at a couple memories, and then shook in fear of the rest, crying out softly.
(ah, time for Erin to go find the others or maybe like Claire do somethin'?)(Idk)(Lisa might not be on for a bit.)
Darren's eyes blink open and he jerkily sits up after realizing he had fallen asleep.
Geez! I could've been killed.
He rubs his forehead and looks out over the roof. He recalled hearing gunshots in his sleep, but he seemed unscathed. Hmm. He glances over at Fiona, who is still fast asleep, and stands. Dusting himself off, he goes to the edge of the building and looks over the dead city with squinted eyes.
Name: Darren Wousan
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Appearance (face, body, clothes): Darren is tall and dangley. He's probably 5.10ft but he only weighs like 130 maybe. His legs are a bit longer than his torso. His hair is a floppy mess of sandy blonde and his skin is pale. His eyes are blue, small, and tilted and a white eye-patch (not like pirate eye-patch, like medical eye-patch) covers his right eye. His nose is long and narrow and his lips are average and pink. He has a rather defined jaw, though it's not square, and his face is a bit gaunt. He wears a navy blue trench coat that goes to his knees with a pinstriped button-up shirt and a pair of denim pants.
Personality: Darren is kinda standoff-ish, and is only bad with words when he's flustered or nervous. He's good at persuasion and can make himself seem like either the good guy or the bad guy in seconds. He leans more towards being an introvert, but he really sits on the line between the two, and he's kinda anti-social when it comes to weird new people. He's very loyal and few things can sway him.
(Realized I hadn't put him into a template yet D: Sorry!)
(eeee sorry hallo i am here. I'll have Erin go look for Fiona since it's still night and Erin said they wouldn't move out until dawn).
Erin raised an eyebrow as the girls passed her, then headed for the doors and looked out. It was still dark, not even beginning to lighten with the sun yet. Her watch had broken a few days ago, so she could only guesstimate that it was maybe 4am? After a moment of thought she checked her gun and ducked outside. Retracing her steps to where she had met Molly after the first zombie attack, she headed off in the direction she had seen Fiona run.
(Hey,LISA!)(she can spot Darren on dah roof, if ya want. He's standing up even XD)
(So, why does Darren have the eyepatch?)
(Erm, he probably hides secrets under it :D)
(XD lol, cause that's what eye patches are for, obvi)
(It's what they're for in all the animes. And I mean ALL the animes…)
(OHMHYWORD tell me bout it XD)
(i'll post again so Erin will see Darren)
Erin's eyes adjusted to the night's darkness, the stars overhead yielding a little bit of help, but not much. She slowed her gate, studying the street and buildings around her; not just looking for Fiona, but also scanning the shadows to make sure nothing was going to jump out at her.
A couple blocks down, while scanning the rooftops, she spotted a figure on the top of an old apartment building, barely silhouetted against the sky. Erin dug her binoculars out of her backpack and peered through them at the figure. She recognized him as the guy she first met in the hospital, who had left as soon as she came downstairs.
Fiona mumbled something and rolled on her side, wrapping her arms around herself. She shivered from the cold and curled into a ball.
Darren turns to look down to Fiona and covers her with his trench coat. He stands again and looks over the city. A glint of light reflecting off of a pair of binoculars catches his eye and he slowly sits back down.
Hmm. Even stalkers survived the apocalypse.
Erin sighed and put away her binoculars. She would have to climb up to the roof if she wanted to speak to him. And she had no way of knowing if Fiona was with him or somewhere else entirely. But this was her only promising lead, and the apocalypse had a way of driving people together. It was quite likely that Fiona was nearby.
After assuring herself the street and the lower floor of the building were clear, she put away her gun and began jogging up the stairs.
(App is just lying on the bathroom floor crying….)
Fiona yawned quietly and rubbed her eyes, "What time is it?" She murmured, opening one of her eyes and tugging the trenchcoat closer around herself.
(can Mira go see if she's ok?)
Darren glances down at his watch.
"Around five a.m. Go back to sleep. I'll wake you up when they come for you."
(App is just lying on the bathroom floor crying….)
(Here comes your RESCUERRRR)
Clovis stands, stretching a bit. Molly glares up at him, liking it better when he's sitting instead of towering over her.
"You need sleep." She growls.
He sighs and ruffles her hair before turning around and walking back towards the lobby.
I need fresh air. That's what I need.
Erin was in shape, but running up flight after flight after flight of steep metal stairs still took a toll on her legs. Every few floors she had to stop and stretch the ache out of her muscles. By the time she reached the top her legs were burning and she had to pause and catch her breath for a few minutes before heading out onto the roof. The sun was starting to think about rising, so it was a few shades lighter than it had been when she was on the street.
(sorry I don't remember exactly everything Fiona had to climb to get to the roof, so I just made Erin climb stairs.)
(Lol, Erin took the easy route :P You're good.)
Darren stands again and looks over to Erin, one of his hands on his gun just in case. He raises his eyebrows and stands still.
Have I seen her before?
(Beware of anti-social bug)
Fiona shook her head and stood up, taking the coat off of herself and holding it out to Darren "I'm fine, thanks." She looked at the sky before sighing and looking at her feet "I'll probably leave soon..I need to think and the others won't understand…." She looked at Erin and backed up slightly, her feet hitting the edge of the roof before she stopped.
