Darren awkwardly smiles and his eyes dart to the ground. He scoots a bit away.
"Ah, um, hi."

"Hi," She said softly, looking away and shuddering slightly. She tried to push the thoughts of Conner out of her head as she looked at Darren, her eyes slowly filling with tears.

Darren doesn't notice the tears in her eyes, since he's still staring at the ground. He scratches the back of his head while thinking of things to say.
"D- do you guys plan to just hang out here? I mean, are you guys staying?"

"I-I don't know….the others might already be gone.." Fiona said softly, wiping her eyes with her hand and turning away. She looked around at the city as she tried to think of what to say to Darren.

Darren rubs his collar bone, a common thing people do when anxious, and looks up at Fiona.
Her eyes were watery, but it was probably just allergies. Honestly, his eyes were a bit watery too.
He smiles out at the stars.
"I doubt they'd leave without you…" He quietly whispers, almost to himself.

Fiona rubbed her eyes again and sat down at the edge of the roof, hanging her legs over the side. "I bet they would leave..I'm not a very important part of the team.." Her eyes filled up with tears again and she pressed her eyes shut, trying not to cry.

(Aw, poor dramatic kid. XD)
Darren watches her, but doesn't say anything. It's not like he would know. And I'm sure arguing wouldn't make things better. He bites his lip and awkwardly shifts before deciding to scoot down to the edge beside her. He leans forward and looks at her face, smiling.
(He's not up in her face, lol, just leaning forward like off da roof and has his head turned looking at her.)

Fiona glanced over at him and wiped her eyes, forcing a small smile. She swung her legs and looked back out over the city "Do you ever think about why you're still alive?" She asked quietly "I mean, all of my original family is dead..all of my friends are probably zombies..but why me? Why you? Why did we make it?"

He sighs, leaning his arms on his legs and sitting hunched over, looking over the dead city.
"We're here for a reason, I know. But what reason?" He looks to the ground before adding,"I know how you feel," with a smirk and a small chuckle.

"I..I killed him.." She whispered, looking over at Darren "I…he…he asked me to kill him…I.." She trailed off and held her head in her hands.

(you can just jump in and have her with the group in the hospital. They're about the leave and find a safer place to stay. I'm waiting for Whisper or Tiramisu to respond to what Erin said before I post again, but you can say something too.)

(Well i was originally on but…I've been gone for two weeks)

Darren looks up, but his expression is soft and he doesn't look mad or scared. He just stares. He sits up straighter, sighing, and takes her hand. He looks back out at the large, deep violet sky and all its starry hosts.
"It's hurts, I know. But it was either that or you let him run loose and gnaw on human flesh. I'm sure he wouldn't prefer the latter." He gives a light smile and squeezes her hand. "We've all been there, Fiona. You're not terrible."
Of course he didn't know who "he" was, but he didn't figure it mattered. During all of this, everyone had killed someone they loved.

Mira walked up to Darren and Fiona. "Anyone mind explaining what happened I have no idea…" Her arm was starting to hurt again as she winces in pain.

"I.-I can't go back…I can barely keep myself in the city..all I want to do is run away, from everyone and everything." She looked at the sky and chuckled "What is wrong with me, I can kill and survive but as soon as I am asked to…I can't"

Mira walked up to Darren and Fiona. "Anyone mind explaining what happened I have no idea…" Her arm was starting to hurt again as she winces in pain.

A white smile crosses Darrens face as he turns to look at her again.

"Well, the world was always messed up and something was always wrong with it." She stood up and sighed, leaving her toes hang over the edge of the roof almost to tempt fate. "Are you going back to your city Darren?" She asked.

Darren looks down to the left.
"I… I probably will."
Darren You awkward, you sound indecisive.

"Oh.." Fiona sighed and looked down at the ground "Well..I better not bother you then…I'll probably stay up here for tomorrow and sleep..then, who knows what. If the others want me they'll find me..if not, then I'll leave.."
