Kris swallows the pill and he then looks up at Slyvastor with interest. He had a thought but he wasn’t sure about it just yet. He kept his mouth shut until he was 100% sure that he was right.

Lake pulls out a roll of bandages. “That the gods.” She gasps out. She runs back to the kitchen and grabs the bowl. “Do you have any extra gauze Sylvastor?”
Slyvastor shook his head. “No! It was only this one. I have no idea where the others are.”
Kris begins to feel extremely light headed and he kinda just moves his head around very slowly. Trying to avoid passing out.
Keri sighed when the others rushed to the bathroom and she walked back up to her room, bored.
Slyvastor gave a slow, entranced nod. His arm tingled at her touch.
“Al-alright…. see you later?” He asked as he helped Kris to his feet, supporting his weight (barely).
Kris just slumps sideways as he is picked up and starts staring off into space while looking at the ceiling. Extremely dazed.
Lake’s expression turned slightly panicked before she looked down at her new skirt. She grabbed some scissors from her bag and hacked off the hem. She cut a smaller piece off of the end and spread some of the poultice she had made on it and then moved Sylvastor’s hand gently before applying the cloth and then she took the rest of the skirt hem and wrapped it around Kris’ head, securing the poultice and gauze. She tells Sylvastor, “Get him to his room, I don’t want him moving around a ton for a while. That was really bad.” The she told Kris, “If your eyesight gets worse, or you start to feel dizzy or abnormally hot, tell someone quickly. Don’t keep quiet, or it could mean death for you.” Then puts a hand on Sylvastor’s shoulder and looks at him softly. “I need to go change into something else since I hacked my skirt apart. Keep an close eye on Kris, m’kay? I gave him a pill that will make him a little sleepy, but if he gets worse get me or Tom immediately.” She sauntered away.
Slyvastor gave a slow, entranced nod. His arm tingled at her touch.

Lake smirked mischievously. “You can be sure of that.”
Keri got to her room and flopped down on her bed, ready for dinner, her stomach growled but she ignored it, instead she kept blasting her music in her room and texting her friends.
Slyvastor felt a thrill of excitement as he started to help Kris from the bathroom.
“Right. See you.” He smiled a little.
Lake reached her room and closed the door behind her before slumping down against it, curling up in a ball. ‘Did I do okay? Will Kris be alright?’ She started to cry, her sister coming into her mind. ‘Why can’t I do the same for you Rown?’
Lake finishes crying and wipes away her tears, like she had thousands of times before. She chuckled at herself weakly. “I’m amazed my tear ducts haven’t warm out yet.” She stands up and pulls on some black leggings with purple bunnies. (There is a hilarious story behind this that I would tell if it weren’t completely off subject.) then she hauls on a ombré black, and blue hoodie in a large men’s size, with a Mexican skull on the front. The back of the hoodie said, “Dead=Happy”. She put on one of her favorite songs called “Little game” by Benny. She sang with all her heart in her sweet voice and danced along,
Play us like pawns and relentlessly confine,
Into living up to gender roles and having absent minds
Don't you think it's funny how they tell us how to live?
Don't you think it's funny how we're all delinquent kids?
Like, hush now, don't say, don't say
Hush, boy, oh, hush, boy, don't say a word
Throw on a jersey and no one gets hurt
Hush, girl, oh, hush, girl, just bat your eyes
Play our little game, play our little game
Bounded all thoughts and corrected common sense
You're raising suicidals with your predetermined titles
Like "a mess", "distressed", "I am unimpressed", "you're excess",
"a dress is all you'll ever be".
Gender roles impose control and deceive progressive times
Welcome to the land of the broken minds
Hush, boy, oh, hush, boy, don't say a word
Throw on a jersey and no one gets hurt
Hush, girl, oh, hush, girl, just bat your eyes
Play our little game, play our little game
Finally, she shut it off, having heard enough to gain her resolve back. She marched back out and down to the kitchen to clean up the mess she had made making the poultice.
Kris meanwhile couldn’t keep himself together and passes out.
Slyvastor set him on the bed with a thrill of shock.
“Uh… Lake?” He called to his girlfriend, slightly put-back.
Lake heard Sylvastor call her. She hurried upstairs quickly. She peeks into Kris’ room. “Is something the matter?”
“He just… passed out? Is he okay?” Slyvastor turned to her, looking worried.
(Question to Operator. Is Kris seriously hurt? [I’m stretched to my limit about health issues right now.])
Keri sighed and turned up her music to block out Lake and Slyvastor.
(I mean he has a concussion. And the blood loss didn’t help that at all so. That’s about it.)
(So hospital or no? ‘Cause that’s concerning.)
(Hospital would be recommended.)
(K. Cool. Guess we’re paying for a hospital visit. …yay.)
Lake hurried over to Kris. She felt his forehead and pulse. She turned to Sylvastor, trying not to panic. “I think it’d be best if he went to the hospital.” Her hands shook.
Slyvastor’s eyes flashed with fear and he nodded. “I can drive him. Don’t worry.” He lifted Kris up again with a grunt.
Lake ran and grabbed her purse. She didn’t bother to tell anyone where they were going, just helped Sylvastor take Kris out to the car. She was trying so hard not to burst out crying from the terror of practically reliving a really bad night of her life. She looked up to the sky and mumbled a quick prayer to whatever gods were out there that this would turn out better than then.
