(Ooh! Hooray! Love B-days! [as long as they’re not my own.])
(Nice. Also best ship name because I can’t think of anything currently.)
(Okay, so until we come up with something better, the ship name is Lakastor.)
(Lel.)
Kris just looks around very dazed and confused as blood runs down into his eyes when he sits up.
Lake turns to Sylvastor, “Please. I need to go and get my stuff. I’d take him myself and have you grab the herbs, but you don’t know anything about them.” She looks at Kris and back to him. “…no offense.”

(Are you reading what you missed?)

(Are you reading what you missed?)
(Yep I already did)
Slyvastor gave a tiny nod. “I’ll do the best I can. Which probably isn’t a lot.” He smiled a meek smile.
Lake smiled at him, and as she passed him to head for the basement she brushes her hand against his arm and says, “Just wash the wound out with water, then find some gauze and put a little pressure on the wound until I come back.” She grins at him and hurried away, hips swaying and skirt swishing.
Slyvastor nodded and watched after her, hypnotized by the swishing movements of her skirt and hips. He looked at Kris and busied himself with looking for a gauze and washing the blood from his face.
Kris just looks extremely dazed but he sits up and watches Slyvastor’s eyes go to Lake then back to himself.
Lake practically flew down the basement and through the trap door. She quickly grabbed her satchel and started shoving herbs into it, using her muscle memory rather than waste precious time lighting the lamp. Finally she threw in her pestle and mortar. Then she remembered the jar of herbs and water she had thrown together earlier for Hunter. She starts to get distracted, muttering herbs names under her breath, checking off her mental list of things she needed. Then she started rummaging through the shelves, looking for something.
Slyvastor pressed the gauze to the wound, pressing it with a little force. He didn’t want to hurt Kris more than he already was, after all.
Kris blinked a few times and gently shook his head. He couldn’t see that well anymore but he didn’t tell anyone. So he just shut up and propped himself up to stop himself from falling.
Finally she pulls out a small brown bag. She shoves it in her pocket and scrambles up the ladder and after shutting the door behind her, heads for the kitchen again, using the daylight to check over the herbs to make sure it was all right. She then hurried over to Kris, to check that Sylvastor had done everything ok. She told Sylvastor, “Keep the pressure on.” Then she asked Kris. “How is your eyesight? Is it blurry?”
Slyvastor prodded Kris gently. “Are you okay? Don’t pass out on us, you might miss out on food.”
Ship name: Slyake.//
or Slake//
(That may work.)
(I like the v first one.)
Kris shakes his head. “Uhh my vision is a bit blurry.” He mutters very quietly as she tries to sit himself up right. He was more preoccupied with watching Slyvastor’s Eyes watching Lake and wondering what Slyvastor was thinking.
Lake’s eyes widened. “Oh dear.” She quickly pulled out her paper bag. She pulls out a pill. “Take this, quickly.” She orders Kris. Then she jumps up and runs into the kitchen with her satchel, skirt flying. She spun around all over the place, grabbing things. She quickly grinds up the herbs she pulled from her bag. She bends over, tugging her skirt down so that her underwear wouldn’t show, and rummaged through the cupboard under the sink and pulls out a bowl. She puts the herbs in with hot water and stirs them to make a paste. Once satisfied with the consistency, she hurried to the bathroom, yelling, “Keep that pressure up Sylv!” In the bathroom, she scrambled for something.

(Me too. It makes me think Lancaster. You know, like Amish country.)
Slyvastor had been watching her with a perplexed but intriqued look on his face. He was so distracted he forgot about the pressure and applied it again.
“R-right! I got it covered!”
