"I guess it depends on the person. I, personally, am probably an even worst guitar player than a singer." She laughed a bit, snuggling closer to him.

Wren casually put his arm round Nova, “If you say so, it takes practise, I was terrible when I first started playing.”
(Okay dokie)
Nova chuckled. "Yeah, I've only ever played once, so… You probably have a point."
He shrugged and made a few light circles on her arm, “Evryone’s got their thing. what’s yours?” He asked, looking down at her.
Nova shrugged. "I- Well, I like to read, I guess…"
“Readings good. Read anything interesting?”
Nova shrugged again. "Well, not really… I don't actually read all that much…" She paused, thinking. Then she smiled. "Well… I am reading the series Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson. I'm on the third book, The Hero of Ages. It's really good and-" She chuckled nervously. "Sorry, you probably weren't expecting a long answer…"
Ashton builds up the courage to walk in the kitchen. He sees Lily with a smile on her face "Boyfriend?" Lily jumped at his sudden voice. "No, just a friend." There was an awkward silence between them. "Look, I'm sorry. I judged you without even knowing you." He knew she wouldn't forgive him right away, but he had to try. "I liked how you got excited about the things you love and showed it to us." Lily eyed him not sure how to respond. "Fine, whatever." She was just tired at this point and didn't care. "You okay with what's happening in there?" Lily gestured to the living room. "Of course not. But, if they like each other I have no reason to butt in." Lily felt the same. She wanted the best for her friend. "I was thought you would be the type to in between people to get what you wanted." Lily mocked him. "I'm not that kind of person," Ashton said crossing his arms. "Won't they be able to hear us?" He questions. "Nah, especially if they are playing music."
Wren smiled, “No, no. Please, continue, I’ve heard of MistBorn but never got around to reading them.”
Nova smiled. "Oh well, it's about this girl Vin who is part of a thieving crew. She is forced to stay there to pay off her brother's debts, since he abandoned the crew. Then,
This guy Kelsier comes and rescues her and she finds out that she's Mistborn. She joins Kelsier's crew, and they overthrow the Final Empire!
Well, that's just the first book, anyway. I won't tell you anymore."
“Sounds interesting, I’ll have to read them.”
"It's too awkward to leave," Ashton could just feel that if he interrupted again Nova would kill him. Lily nodded in agreement. "I guess we could just stay in here till they go to bed or something?" She suggested. They both sat on the floor. "So, what do you like to do?" Ashton smiled. "You couldn't have asked that a bit less awkwardly?" The sun was going down. "Actually, want to see something?" Lily had a secret entrance to the roof.
"Yeah…" Nova sighed. "They're great…" She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled herself up so that she was halfway sitting on his lap. Their faces were almost touching.
Wren became a little flustered and is blush was totally noticeable. He didn’t look away from her, and smiled a little, nervously.
Nova smiled, blushing. She pulled away a little, but was still on his lap. She looked down, embarrassed.
Wren placed a thumb and finger and made her look at him, placing his forehead on her own. He glanced at her lips, a silent request.
(Hey I think I have to go soon sorry)
She blushed even more, and pressed her lips against his. She stayed there for a monent, buut pulled away. "Hey. it's getting late. I think I'll have to head off to bed." Shhe got up, blew him a kiss, and left.
Lily and Ashton snuck onto the roof. "This is a dumb idea. You know this house is two stories right?" He had no idea how Lily could be brave enough to come up here. "It's not that bad." She laughed. "Come, sit here." She patted the spot next to her, Ashton chooses his moments carefully as he basically crawled to her before sitting. "Wow," All Ashton was staring as he looked over the farm with the sky turning into a mix of many colors. "Right?" The wind blew through their hair "He promised me ya know." Ashton said looking down."What?" He looked at Lily. He didn't know if it was the background or what but she looked prettier. He snapped himself out of his trance. "He said he wouldn't go for Nova." Ashton chuckled. "Well, the heart wants what it wants," Lily said looking at the beautiful scenery.
Wren blushed as she left and ran a hand through his hair. He’d said to Ashton that he wasn’t interested in Nova but pretty sure that was now incorrect.
Nova stopped outside the house and sat down, smiling. She felt all giddy inside.
Wren picked up his guitar, continuing the Les Mis song, thinking about Nova.
She quickly ran to the girl house and reached under her bed for her glasses. She put them on and looked at herself in the bathroom mirror. All of a sudden, she felt comfortable wearing them.
"We should go." Lily stood up, but Ashton didn't want to leave. He followed close behind being careful not to slip. They snuck back into the house and peeked around the corner. Wren was the only one there. "Well, I'll see you guys later as Lily waved and left the house. Ashton sat next to Wren "Did, you have fun?"
“Hm, oh yeah… Look I’m sorry, I know I said I wouldn’t go after Nova but…” He ran a hand through his hair, “I’m sorry.”
