Lily and Nova walked back into the room and Lily crawled back into bed falling asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow.

Nova sat in her bed, suddenly very tired. It was 4:30, so she's have to wake up soon, though. Why'd she have to stay up so late reading? she laid down and went to sleep.

The bell was a rude awakening for Lily. No matter how many times she heard it she hated it. "Time to get up guys." She said as she yawned and stretched her arms.

"Already?" Nova groaned, pulling the covers over her head.

"I want to go back to sleep," Lily groaned. "Wake up!" Someone from shouted from outside. Lily opened the window and saw Ashton standing there "Good morning sleepy heads." He said with a smile. Lily thought it was how nice he was being.

Nova walked over to the window, her hair a mess and her eyes droopy. "How did you get over here this fast? It's been like… 10 seconds or something."

She groaned, rolling over and groaning. "Nuuuu… I have the sleepy…"

Nova looked at her then back at the open window. "Hey, who opened this, anyway?"

"I'm a morning person," Ashton beamed. For some reason this annoyed Lily more than him being mean. Maybe it was because she wasn't a morning person. "Come on Roxanne, you have to get up." Lily shakes her a bit to get her more awake then she is now.

She burrowed under the covers. "Nuuuuuuuuuuu.."

Nova raised her eyebrows. "Why don't I believe that?"

Ashton shrugged "It's the truth though." He said smiling.
(I don't know if I'll be much help with that topic.)

(That's alright. I'm not either. That's why I asked. :P)
Nova stared at him for a moment longer before turning away to brush her hair. "Whatever…"

Lily dressed quickly and ran downstairs and out the door. "Don't trip," Ashton said. Standing there waiting for everyone. "Yeah.." She questioned his motives. There was no way he was being nice for no reason. "How did you sleep?" Lily pushed his hand away "Well, I slept well." That's all she said before walking away to the garden for breakfast.

Nova took a couple minutes brushing her hair straight, even though it was short. (Trust me, layered pixie cuts impossible to get straight. The top just pokes up and it's frustrating) Finally, she made her way downstairs where Ashton was waiting. "Why are you still here?"

(I know the feeling, I used to have a pixie cut.)
"Just waiting." He shrugged. "Shall we walk together?" Ashton knew he needed to get his acted together if he had any chance with Nova. Even if that meant being nice to Lily.

"Uh… no?" Nova was getting some weird vibes from him. She shoved past him and quickly caught up to Lily.

"Yeah, kinda expected that." He sighed. Lily sat at the table already eating food. Ashton rolled his eyes. He seriously didn't see any charm in that girl. Pull yourself together man!

Nova sat next to Lily and they began to chat. Over the last day, they had become pretty good friends. This was the first friend that Nova had had in a little over 2 years.

Ashton sat across from them. Where on earth is Wren? "What's first on the list?" Lily looked over "Feeding the animals. She plainly said and went back to chatting with Nova. Couldn't she try to be nice, I'm trying my best here and she's making it difficult. He shook his head. I'm been think about her way too much. He took a side glance at Nova and quickly looked away sighing and putting his head in his hand. This is going to be hard.

Nova stopped smiling and began to whisper. "Do you think Ashton''s been acting a bit odd?"

Lily nodded. "Defiantly." She looked over, he seems distracted by something. "He's weirding me out. He was too nice to me this morning."

"Yeah, didn't he used to go around, pushing people in lakes and drinking alcohol and stuff?"

"Pft" Lily couldn't hold back her laughter. "Yeah, it seems strange. I think it's my turn to make him uncomfortable." Lily smiled before moving next to Ashton. She winked at Nova, indicating this was going to be fun.
