"Where do you want to sleep? Here or the guest bed?" He said laughing in his head. He took his glasses off and sat them down on the coffee table.
"Where do you want to sleep? Here or the guest bed?" He said laughing in his head. He took his glasses off and sat them down on the coffee table.
Seth looked at the couch. He slipped off Hiro's lap and curled up in his wings, closing his eyes. "Here is fine…" He was quickly losing consciousness. Seth opened his eyes and watched Hiro take his glasses off. 'He looks cute with glasses…'
Hiro smiled got up to get a blanket. When he comes back he covers Seth up and sits next to him putting the tv on for background noise.
Seth's eyes closed and his breathing slowed and deepened. Soon, he was fast asleep. He snuggled into the blanket in his sleep, making cute little noises of contentment. His wings shifted, and he curled up tighter.
Hiro pets hair a little and put his glasses on. The book he was reading was Night by Elie Wiesel. "Good night," he whispered softly.
(Time skip to about a couple hours later? I have an idea.)
(Sure)
(Alright! Thank you! Skippity-Skip!)
Seth shivered under his warm blanket. He started whimpering softly, face scrunching a little.
Hiro looked at him. "Seth? Hey, wake up." He said softly shaking him.
Seth cried out a little louder and jolted away from Hiro's hand in his sleep. "N-no! P-p-please… I-I don't want to!" He was breaking out in a cold sweat, shaking violently.
Hiro flinched "Seth it's Hiro…You're ok…" he hugged him tightly.
Seth woke up suddenly when he felt arms around him, and he almost clawed Hiro in fright, stopping only inches from Hiro's face. "I-I'm so sorry!" he cried when he saw what he had almost done. He pulled away from Hiro quickly, stumbling to his feet.
"Calm down…" he said grabbing his hand. "Are you ok…" he looked at Seth worried something bad was happining to him.
Seth choked a bit when Hiro grabbed his hand. His face flushed furiously, but a look of fear was in his eyes. "I- I need to get out of here!" He pulled his hand away quickly and ran down the hallways, looking for the exit to the backyard frantically.
"Seth calm down. Nothing is going to happen. Just…Please…" Hiro's voice cracked with pain. "I-I…Don't want you to get hurt…"
Seth sat on the floor and buried his head out of sight while he was in a fetal position, giving a muffled wail of, "I'M NOT GONNA GET HURT! I'M GONNA END UP HURTING YOU!!" Then he broke down in muffled sobs, his figure shaking, and his wings shedding feathers.
"No, you won't." He walked over to him and hugged him tightly. "Have I been hurt by you yet?" he stated. He lifted Seth's face up.
Seth looked at him with petrified, tear-filled eyes. "Y-you will. I-i-it's only been about a d-d-d-day…" He sniffed, and wiped his cheeks with his fingers, shivering in Hiro's arms. He didn't hug Hiro back though, and remained stiff, afraid to move.
"You go to my class every day." He smiled softly. "As I said. You would've hurt me already if you were going to."
Seth gave a low growl. "WHY DO YOU THINK I AVOIDED YOU?!!" Then realized he had snapped at Hiro and immediately groveled, apologizing. "I-I'm sorry! I d-didn't mean to sn-snap at y-you…" His face scrunched up like he was about to cry again. "I-I don't know what's wr-rong with m-me…" Seth slumped, looking at his feet.
Hiro stood up and walked off not showing his crying face. "If that's how you f-feel…Then I won't stop you." with that he sat on the couch and curled up into a ball.
Seth whimpered quietly when Hiro walked away. He immediately ran for the backdoor and flew up into a tree before bursting out sobbing, feeling like he deserved Hiro walking away from him. why couldn't he ever get anything right? It was true, no matter what Hiro said… he was a failure. Seth looked up at the sky. It was all a blur through his watery eyes. He snapped open his wings. Maybe it would be better if he left the world… all worlds. For good.
Hiro looked outside. He actually left… he cursed under his breath. "Damnit Seth…"
Seth decided on one last thing to do before he truly left. He arched his back, opened his mouth and let out a loud, long, broken howl. He put all of his emotions behind it as it tapered off. When he finished, he snapped his fingers, not seeing, but feeling a small, folded piece of paper appearing next to Hiro. I'm so sorry… he thought as he took off for the one thing that would destroy him.
(Sorry, are you stuck now? I should've thought ahead a little further…)
