(Mkay I’m gonna go)
It was hours before Casey finally emerged from her office. After being satisfied with her plans for tomorrow she looked up to find the candle she had lit was burned out. She stood up and opened the curtains to find it was dark outside, so she went to check on everyone. Maybe leaving them without something to do wasn’t the wisest of choices, but they were adults and she had lost track of time anyways. She opened the door and drifted straight to the kitchen, putting the kettle on the stove.
(So wait is it still the same day?)
"Heyo!" Lane said as he waved cheerfully from his spot on the table and by on the table, I mean on the table. He was laying on the table and watching Netflix from his laptop. "How are you? And before you ask, Cam is sulking on the roof I think. Lucca went to try and cheer him up and they're probably snogging right now".
(So wait is it still the same day?)
(Yeah I just kinda wanted to wrap the day up)
"Heyo!" Lane said as he waved cheerfully from his spot on the table and by on the table, I mean on the table. He was laying on the table and watching Netflix from his laptop. "How are you? And before you ask, Cam is sulking on the roof I think. Lucca went to try and cheer him up and they're probably snogging right now".
“Oh they are, are they?” Casey asked, her tone nonchalant. She grabbed a glass and filled it with water, then placed it on the table next to Lane. “You’ve has a lot of candy. Drink up,” she ordered, walking towards the window that led to the roof.
"Casey-wasey can I go home now and rest my tired bones? Also perhaps eat food? I worked out for six hours and still haven't eaten," Sol complained loudly. "How are you so cheerful, Lane?" She had been laying her upper body on the table like a whiny child, and didn't move from her position while talking.
(Ooooh I kinda want Casey to ask him what’s wrong. That would be a really good bonding momentttt

"Huh? Oh, I already raided your cabinets of hot cocoa." Lane said with a cheery smile, swinging his legs happily as he spoke. "Also, I took the marshmallows."

She had been laying her upper body on the table like a whiny child, and didn't move from her position while talking.
You can go home and grab the things you’ll need for a day or two but I need you back in an hour. You have a room here. And you can either grab some food while you’re out or order something,” Casey said, turning back to Sol.
(Like order food to be delivered to Casey’s place)
"Huh? Oh, I already raided your cabinets of hot cocoa." Lane said with a cheery smile, swinging his legs happily as he spoke. "Also, I took the marshmallows."
Casey shook her head at Lane, walking over to scoot the water close to him. “Drink it anyhow.”

Lane made sounds of disagreement. "Fine." He huffed and grabbed the water, beginning to chug it.

"Oh yeah I forgot about that. Lemme just…" Sol's voice trailed off as she did something on her phone. "Okay! Two cheese pizzas are on their way, I'll be in my room, bye." She waved and walked quickly to her room, closing the door behind her. She jumped onto her bed and spread her body out, letting it relax.
"I'm right here, Lane." Luca chirpped from the floor where she was in crow position, staring whimsically at her laptop screen. A movie was flashing across the screen. Big guns and bombs going off every few seconds. "And we were not snogging." She hissed at him. her mood had fouled the more the afternoon went on and now she was a straight harpy.
"Oh hello!" Lane said with a giggle. "I didn't notice you were back!" He swung his legs off the table and stretched them so they touched his back. He looked like a twig, but he was quite stretchy.

"I've been sitting here for hours, Lane." she said stepping up to poke him lighting on the nose. "Observation skills are at zero today, mate."
Casey left them to it and walked to the window, hoisting herself up. She started to climb and was surprised to find Cameron only on the AC unit. “Hello,” she said in a soft voice. “May I sit?”

I just feel like I get really controlling whenever I have a little side story going on.)

Casey sat with one leg folded and parallel against the AC unit, the other bent with her knee in the air. “How long have you been out here?” she asked, looking over the buildings and the outside.
Cameron kept his face hidden in his arms and hands. “I don’t know,” He answered slowly, inhaling to control himself. Casey probably knew that he was crying. She probably figured out how weak he is.
A twinge of something nasty flared under Luca's breastbone and flashed in her eyes as she watched Casey disappear up onto the roof from the corner of her eye. She knew Cam would trust her enough to talk about his issue. She just didn't understand why she felt hurt about it. They all trusted Casey with their stories.
She stuck her tongue out at Lane saying, "I'll be in my room." as she passed by him.
Cameron kept his face hidden in his arms and hands. “I don’t know,” He answered slowly, inhaling to control himself. Casey probably knew that he was crying. She probably figured out how weak he is.
“What is it, Cam?” Casey asked. Her voice was much softer than it usually was. It almost sounded like she was a twenty three year old girl. She turned to face Cam, which she knew he didn’t want but she did it nonetheless, making sure to soften her gaze.
Cameron swallowed against the lump in his throat and shook his head. “Nothing. Nothing is wrong.” His voice shivered and broke at the last word. He cursed at himself angrily, biting his tongue.
Hurt for Cam flashed though Casey’s chest but she kept the pity off her face, knowing he would t appreciate it. “What is it Cam?” she asked again, her voice slightly more persistent.
Cameron inhaled deeply. Stop being such a goddamn wuss! You don’t need anyone to help you. He rubbed his face, trying to get the tears from his eyes. It didn’t work well.
He shook his head in response to her question. “I’ll… I’ll be fine.”
