Luca continued to look up at him, her stormy eyes clouding over briefly before clearing once again. She couldn't get angry with him for wanting to keep it in. God knows she kept all of her baggage firmly in the back of her mind. "Hence the Batman routine. I get it. I'm going to stay right here though. In case you change your mind." She settled back into her spot and gazed out at the skyline of the city.

Can I join?? I can be like a weapons maker and make like tiny cameras, spy weapons, etc??))

(hello Moxie is back. Do you mean as an extra character or part of the group? edit: oh yeah we kinda have a weapons maker already)

Cameron shut his eyes again and sighed deeply. “It’s… hard to explain. You wouldn't get it. Sorry.” He had resorted back to his quiet dorkiness. “I’ll be back up in… whatever I am sooner or later.”

Luca blinked, the only sign of her surprise that Cameron had even spoken at all. A small part of her doubted that she wouldn't understand, but she respected him enough not to push any further. "If you don't mind," she began, voice still soft and lovely. "I'd like to stay. Just so you aren't alone…"

Cameron sighed and shut his eyes again. “I don’t control what you do.” He’d rather she leave him alone. If he could look into her thoughts he could afirm that it was his problem she was thinking of. It was just her. He knew her that well to know as much.

Luca sighed as well, albeit more quietly so Cam didn't hear. She knew he wasn't trying to be harsh with her, but it still gave her heart a mighty squeeze to be brushed off so. She wondered idly what she was going to do about the nagging feeling deep in her chest and how it may effect the job ahead of them. She'd rather not disappoint Casey again because she was distracted by feelings. She knew she should have goteen up and left, but still…she lingered.

Cameron glanced at her. Her ever so soft sigh touched his sharp ears like a letter dove laying down a spig of lavender on a forest floor.
What does she want? He asked her silently, staring at her back. He decided to ask,
“What is your intention? I do not need help.” He really did need help. He wanted to talk about what the C.A.s had been through. How he himself failed to save… He shook his head a little, dislodging his thoughts.

Luca remained still, facing away from Cameron so he wouldn't see the flash of annoyance in her eyes. "I need an ulterior motive for offering support to someone who obviously needs it?" Her voice toed the line between sarcastic and exasperated. She turned facing him with an arched brow and a fierce look right into his eyes.

His eyes were dull and rounded down to show his dogged sadness. His dim, somewhat hidden grief for his friend.
“I feel that everything you do requires a reason of the sort,” He comebacked meekly, looking away.

"I may be a manipulator by profession, but I wouldn't do that to those whom I care for." Luca frowned, she should have seen this coming. He simply didn't trust her because she was…well… who she was. A manipulator. Someone who played on the emotions of others to gain vital information to use against them. Usually using sex to get it. Luca shifted, suddenly uncomfortable in her own skin. Well this is going great. Nice job, Luca.

Cameron seemed to be thinking about the same she was. He stood up slowly, sighing as his body protested.
“I cannot be convinced by your methods. You have tried them on me, and I’m convinced you will try it. I’m sorry, but…” He shook his head.

Luca refused to look at him, her apathetic mask sliding into place as she stood as well. "Suit yourself." She walked back towards the ledge leading back into the crew's headquarters, but paused as she hiked a leg over the side. She looked at Cameron, her blank face masking the terrible storm of emotions within her, "For the record," she said in a monotoned voice. "I hope you can find away to cope with your grief."
She leaped over the side and slide into the apartment before he was able to say anything back to her.

Cameron bit his lip when she slipped off the building and sat again. It finally crashed down on him. He was dead. Gone. Forever. Cameron knashed down on his shaking lips and heaved in a silent sob, covering his face in his hands.

(Cameron sad is making me sad in Geometry.)

((Between Cam and Luca? Nah I think we're at a good spot for now. They have to build trust and such. And their tension could add some interesting plot devices for Moxie to use during the meet up the next day.))

(Oh okay! I think I am satisfied for now, too. Unless someone wanted to try their hand, I think we’re all good!)

Lane would probably just hand Cam a cookie and sit there watching Netflix//

@Euric_Knight

Sol would probably tell him to stop being edgy because being edgy is for teenagers so it's only a privilege of hers to be edgy and then watch Minecraft let's plays.))

I feel like I should just have Lane wake up, go smack Cam on the head, hand him a cookie, and pull up Netflix for him.//

@Euric_Knight

I put a lot of elements of myself into Sol because she's a character I use a lot for example we have the same hairdo and we both have the same opinion of coffee and tea and we both hate carbonated drinks and we both are terrible at boundaries though are trying to get better))
