Asura stood still for a moment, deciding that this was officially the worst idea he's ever had. He probably wouldn't be able to get this an off his mind for quite a while now. With a sigh, he walked forward carefully, doing his best not to disturb the man as he exited his office and made his way to the lounge, where there was a couch Asura could place him on. When he got there, he put him down gently, doing his best not to wake him.
Zackary immediately snorted awake when he was set down. He looked up at Asura, blinking sleepily.
“What are we doing?”
"I'm going home, so you couldn't sleep in my office anymore," he explained, turning his face away to hide his blush. "You can sleep here if you're still tired. Not a lot of people come in here at night."
Zackary huffed and wiggled under the cusions of the couch, like a puddle of water. “Fine. Leave me behind.”
(question, was that Zack being mad about Asura leaving him or was he serious lol sometimes I can't tell)
(lol okay)
"Well it's not like I could've left you on my desk, an I can't really take you anywhere else,"he pointed out, arms crossed. "Besides, the couch is comfier, so you're welcome."
Zackary growled and wiggled out of sight again. “Nooo. The desk was comfier. Now you’re leaving me here.”
Asura shrugged. "I have to go home at some point, sorry."
Zackary growled at him from under the couch cusions. “I’ll just stay here until you fire me, then.”
Asura frowned, looking down at him. "Are you trying to quit or something?"
“I’m too old to be working that job! I deserve something better!” Zackary protested hot-headedly.
"Like what? What other choice do you have as a demon?" He asked, his irritation obvious in his voice.
“I don’t know, boss.” Zackary poked his head out of the cusions, his hair frizzed out.
"What kind of job do you even want?" He asked, trying to ignore the fact that the half demon's messy hair was kind of cute.
“I don’t know! What’s available? I’d rather a job that doesn’t kill my back, really.”
Asura stopped suddenly, frowning and turning around. "That's not my problem. If you want a new job, look for one yourself. And if you're quitting, let me know so I can take you off the schedule. I have to go home."
“But it is your problem, since you’re my boss! Do you want me off the team or not?”
"No, I don't, but I can't stop you if you want to quit." He opened to door to the lounge to exit, but stopped to face Zackary for a moment. "Have fun looking for your new job."
Zackary huffed and slunk out of the couch, dusting himself off. He kicked the cusions back into place, grumbling in angry Demon.
(Ughghgughf let me continue on)
Zackary smoothed back down his hair and stalked out of the room, pushing Asura out of the way.
Asura stumbled a bit and growled, clenching his fists to try to control his anger, but failing. "Do you really have to be that fucking extra? What the hell is your problem?"
Zackary ignored him and pushed his way back outside. He’d drop his job and become a damn deadbeat, the thing all Half-Breeds are destined to be. Zackary sighed out into the stifled, hot air. Maybe he’d just go back up to The Surface and get a real job.
(asdkjhfakdfjg what is Asura supposed to do?)
(Diendddoskjffo call him back?)
Make him go like "If you go on a date with me, I'll see if I can find you a job" or somethign///
