Zackary huffed at him and wrinkled his pointy nose. “My name is Wings.” My Demon name, anyway…

"Wings? How unique," he said sarcastically. "I'd like to kindly point out that I'm your boss, Wings, so watch what you say around me."

Zackary gave a slight grunting growl. “Fucking fire me then. I don’t give a shit.”

He raised his eyebrows, slightly surprised and amused. "I could certainly have that arranged. However, I don't think you actually mean that, do you?"

Zackary tugged another Soul out of The Pit and tossed it over her shoulder.
“It’s better than doing this soul-wrenching bullshit…” He growled this under his breath, his eyes slitting.

"It pays the bills, though," he pointed out before turning away. "I'll be keeping an eye on you," he said, glancing over his shoulder and looking him up and down once more. He's even hotter up close, he thought, forcing himself to look away to hide to blush creeping onto his face. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on him…

Zackary huffed shook himself out when he felt his boss’s eyes trail him. He tugged more Souls out and sighed deeply. This job made him want to spur out into a surge of murder. Plenty of Demons did it.
