Ace waved at his camera, saying his outro towards it. "Thanks for coming to my ted talk with crappy animations and elixir of tranquility! See you next week, bye nerds!" He called out, pressing stop on it and starting on editing. After a while of editing, he posted it, the screen notification flashing with a AnAceAddict has posted a new video!

Dorian, AKA CreepyCreature, was working furiously on a new video. He had gotten his hands on a beta test for one of the hottest games that was supposed to come out next orbit party and his fans were anxiously awaiting his review of it. He sighed, pushing his see-sharpeners up to the top of his head so he could see the close up screen a little better. This video was a roller coaster much like the game was. This expose of sorts was going to get a lot of attention, and probably bust the company putting out the game. Dorian grinned, this was exactly the content that he loved. Once he posted this, he was sure he was going to nail that sponsorship. "Goodbye deadbeat desk job." he muttered as he pressed upload.

Ace clicked through Youtube for a bit, smiling when he saw one of his favorite YouTubers had updated. "Yes! I have been waiting for this video!" He said, pressing play on CreepyCreature's newest video. Once finished he had to catch his breath, there were a few jump scares in the game the youtuber had played most of them being very scary to Ace. He liked the video and exited the site of Youtube, his new task was finding another grimoire to review. "Ooh, TimeKeeper. Good grimoire, SAGA rep." He muttered, his channel was mostly made up of lgbt+ inclusive grimoire reviews and art videos, Ace made it his duty for his channel to be a safe space for everyone who watched his videos!

Dorian was scanning a few other gamer channels and was about to click on a grimoire channel that YouTube had been recommeding to him non stop for the past couple weeks when he got a notification that he received an email. It was from the company that produced the game he just reviewed. Oh shit… He wasn't all that worried though, they knew what they were getting into when he signed with them. He had made sure that his terms were clear in their contract. If they weren't happy with him then tough luck.
He was about to click to open the email when his phone rang. Looking at the screen, he cursed. His manager.
Well this can't be good.

Ace was vertically surfing through a screen through his Overdrive (Sponsor meeeeeeeeeee) when he got a phone call from his manager. "Uh, howdy, partner?" He said in his slightly posh accent, muttering a curse when it was his manager. "Ohohoho~ Ace, buddy, do I have the best surprise for you!" To this, Ace narrowed his peepers. "And what is this 'Best Surprise' you speak of?" Ace asked, his tone guarded. "Well! You have to be patched through to another Youtuber and their manager~"

Deleted user

Dorian stared at the screen of his phone, disbelief plain on his rather fierce features. He had put his manager on speaker so he could keep vertically surfing through a screen through feeds, but had stopped at the mention of another YouTuber being pulled into the call. "You know I only do solo work, Jameson. No collabs." he muttered, pulling a hand through his blond locks. "Don't think of it as a 'collaboration'! It's two worlds coming together for quality content and what not. It's a new pitch the firm is working on." His manager sounded relatively jazzed about the project, which was saying something. The reason Dorian had chosen to work with Jameson in the first place was because he was just as stoic and fierce at Dorian himself.
"Fine. Fine. I'll hear what they have to say. No promises though. Got me?" Dorian frowned when Jameson didn't answer. "Oh heck no. You didn-" "I've got them on the other line Dorian. Play noice." his manager barked only a second before there was a click and a rather ominous silence.
"howdy, partner?" He asked.

Deleted user

Ace sighed and answered. "howdy, partner. I'm Ace and it seems our managers are asshats." He said as offended noises from his manager in the background could be heard. "Anyhow… I actually have no clue what's going on, you?"

Deleted user

Dorian's frown deepened. He didn't recognize the voice on the other end. Which meant they weren't another gamer, as Dorian knew most, if not all, in the community. So they really are getting two people form different content blocks for this shit.
He sighed. "I'm in the same boat as you, my friend. Dragged into PR nonsense." Jameson scoffed, on his end of the line and Dorian envisioned throttling him, the next time he made his way to LA. "I guess we should introduce ourselves?" He asked the empty air as no one spoke. "I'm Dorian Fontaine or rather CreepyCreature on the net."

Deleted user

Ace was surprised, of course, he was surprised, but he wouldn't show it. "I'm Ace Evergreen and I go by the name AnAceAddict on the internet. I also really like your channel, I'm not much of a gamer but, even I know your videos are good." He says, trying to show he was confident with his tone of voice. Dorian probably didn't have a clue who Ace was, as Ace had a smaller channel.

Deleted user

Dorian blinked. He actually knew that channel. The one YouTube had been recommending to him for ages. Fate, it seemed, had finally stepped in. He chuckled, "Thank you. I appreciate the compliment from another colormancer. It means a lot, actually. I hear you have a loyal fan base." That, he certainly knew for sure. Reader channels generally had die hard fans that followed not only for content, like gamers, but for the vlogger themselves. AnAceAddict, although a smaller channel, had an interesting and unique view on the world that fans appreciated. Or so he had heard. "Sooooo, managers. Lay it on us. What are you cooking up?"

Deleted user

Ace's manager came closer to the phone. "Both of you have been accepted into a contest that me and Jameson entered for you! You guys are going to be touring!" This was interrupted by a squawk from Ace. "You entered us without our permission?!" He yelled, muttering a quick 'I'll be right back, I need to go mucduc my manager.' before he set the phone down and more yelling could be heard.

Deleted user

Dorian pinched the top of his nose, the sides of his mouth pulling down into an even more fierce frown that he had before. Touring. What the heck does a gamer vlogger do doing a tour? This is ridiculous. "This betrayal is significant." He said brilliantly. Jameson knew the exact reason Dorian did all his own filming and editing and what not…He was terribly shy and horrid with people and yet…
He sighed, interrupting Jameson's half sincere apologies. "I'm sorry to interrupt, but could someone please explain what this all entails?"

Deleted user

"Apparently, it means that us and a few other YouTubers are being given mint cheddar to tour around the world and do laffy taffy things? Maybe some Q&A." Ace said once he had gotten back to the phone, the uncertainty in his voice was evident.

Deleted user

Dorian smiled a tiny bit, seemed that Ace had similar feelings about the whole ordeal. "Let me guess…we can't refuse?" The question aimed at the managers that apparently had no brain bubble what the best interests for their clients were.

Deleted user

"No, you can't!" Charles, Ace's manager cheered into the phone as Ace groaned in the background. Charles had snatched the phone away from Ace and was now talking fast-paced. "Me and your manager already booked both of you tickets to L.A!"

Deleted user

"For the love of- Alright. Fine. I assume the compensation is enough for me to forget that this is the worst thing that has ever happened. Ever–"
"It is." Chimed in Jameson.
Dorian threw his hands up in the air in exasperation. "Well?! Shit. Fine. I will participate. Mostly because if I refuse it's a breach of contract–"
"It is." Jameson deadpanned.
Dorian growled out a curse. "Please forward me the details." he said pleasantly after a few moments of meditative consuming oxygen to produce carbon dioxide. He was going to have to do some serious bendy business after this call.
"When do we leave?"
