Meg blushes at the compliment and shakes her head. “I’m not that beautiful.” she denies.
Meg blushes at the compliment and shakes her head. “I’m not that beautiful.” she denies.
He looks at her. “Oh yes you are…maybe even more so…”
She shakes her head again. “I’m really not. I’m actually pretty plain.” she says. “I've actually been called intimidating before.”
He huffs a soft laugh. “Well I call bull crap there. Because you seem so beautiful to me…no one has been able to see that smile…or hear that laugh…and they probably never took the time to get to know you.”
“Well, you're right on those last three points.” she shrugs with a nod. “But I can't argue with you on your opinion.”
He smiles. “Hm…thats what I thought.” He chuckles softly.
Meg sighs and shakes her head. “Can you blame me for not wanting to talk about that?”
He huffs a soft laugh. “I see your point-“
“Thank you.” she sighs again.
He hums, closing his eyes. This was probably the longest he’s ever went without thinking about death. Somehow…she distracted him. He yawns slightly, “Oh- exuse me-“
“Are you tired?” she asks, looking back at him.
He laughs softly. “yeah- I usually get tired by this time…especially when I do a lot of moving around.”
“Oh.” she giggles, remembering their chase earlier. “I’m sorry if any of that is my fault.”
He laughs, “Naw…I had fun. Besides this always happens.”
“Alright.” she nods. “Should… Should I head home and let you rest?”
He smiles. “You can stay as long as you want. I don’t need to rest just yet anyways.”
“Thank you.” she smiles softly, letting herself relax.
Aaron relaxes, closing his eyes. After a few moments, he starts to doze off.
Meg gently pokes his shoulder to try to wake him. “I think you need some rest.” she giggles softly.
He blinks and looks at her. He then laughs softly. “I- assume you’re right. Thank you by the way…i…really enjoyed this.”
Meg smiles warmly back. “I enjoyed today too. Thank you for letting me paint with you.”
He nods, smiling. He stands and offers his arm.
Meg stands and accepts his arm, knowing she would likely get lost in the palace without someone helping her.
Aaron smiles, taking her home. “I hope we can spend time together tomorrow…if that’s alright with you.” He stops at her front door.
Meg smiles back and nods. “Tomorrow sounds good to me.” she agrees. “It really was nice to see you again and your home.”
He smiles brightly. “It was nice having someone to hang out with…” he hums. “Ill see you tomorrow…”
“Tomorrow it is.” Meg nods. “Will you be meeting me at my home again?”
He nods. “Of course. Do you prefer a time?”
“Not as early as today would be nice.” she teases with a playful chuckle.
Aaron laughs softly. “Of course…sorry about that by the way-“
