Shuichi only blushed more as he realized what he had done as he looked away from the other, quickly averting his gaze towards the floor. While it did seem that Korekiyo was fine with it, he was embarrassed about what he had done, especially since he usually wasn't that bold. He had no idea where the desire came from or why he acted upon it, but he was happy. He was still embarrassed, but he was happy.
Korekiyo chuckled, brushing his masked lips up against shuichis “ a promise is a promise darling, get something to eat, and ill take you to work,” he said, “or we can stay in and I can cuddle you since you wanna be so brave.”
Korekiyo chuckled “ you can use your detective skills to find out just how much I wanted that kiss..” he whispered to the other
Shuichi continued looking at the ground as Korekiyo continued talking to him. He couldn't help but only feel more embarrassed as the conversation went on, and his face was quickly becoming a deep red due to all of the blush. He couldn't help it; he did something that he never expected to do, and while he enjoyed it, he was incredibly embarrassed about how he had behaved and was overthinking the entire interaction as he remained silent. There was a bit too much on his mind for him to speak.
“Hey.. Shu..” korekiyo said softly, letting his hand pull the hair that was in the others face away “you okay?”
Shuichi nodded in response to the question. Aside from being incredibly embarrassed, he was honestly okay. He was still tired from everything else in his life as well, but he was okay for the most part. That was the truth, even if he couldn't express that verbally at the time and his face was still heavily tinted red.
Korekiyo chuckled “ I love you too,” he said, pulling shuichi closer
It only took a couple of seconds for Shuichi to bury his face into Korekiyo's chest. He was still an embarrassed mess at the time, but he would calm down. He was simply one of the easiest people to embarrass. He did seem to be happy, though.
Korekiyo chuckled, rubbing his back
It still took a little while, but Shuichi eventually regained his composure from everything that happened. His cheeks continued to have a light tint to them, but he was nowhere near as red as he was before. All things considered, he appeared to be calm and happy.
“ better shu?” he asked, nuzzling the other
Shuichi nodded in response as he removed his face from the other's chest. He was doing a lot better now that he wasn't as embarrassed. He could probably say something as well, but he wasn't entirely sure what to say at the moment. At least he had calmed down, though.
Korekiyo had a deep blush lining the top of his mask, but he had a smile “ wanna lay down?”
Shuichi noticed the blush, but he didn't say anything about that. Honestly, he found it kind of adorable that the other was blushing because of all of their interactions as well. As for the question, he shook his head in response. He figured that he should eat while he's still up, and then they could cuddle.
"Just while I'm up, I think I should eat first, but then we can," he responded softly.
“Alright, my kitchen is yours “ he said
Shuichi nodded as he walked into the kitchen. He wasn't entirely sure what to make for himself, but he wondered if Korekiyo wanted anything as well. If that was the case, then he was going to make something for the two of them.
"Alright," he responded. "Do you want anything?"
“ hmm? Oh no, I just ate a muffin “ he said and chuckled

Shuichi nodded in response as he laughed softly. Something about that was funny and kind of adorable. After he finished thinking about that, he snapped himself out of the thoughts and grabbed some food. Since Korekiyo mentioned muffins, he grabbed one for himself.

Shuichi smiled softly as Korekiyo picked him up. He blushed slightly as well, but he spent most of his time focusing on eating his food. He was pretty hungry, all things considered, so he was happy to have the muffin.
“Your such a cutie.” korekiyo teased
Shuichi shook his head as he felt his blush deepen. He wasn't used to receiving compliments, and his own opinion of himself wasn't very high, so it was a surprise that that other thought that he was cute to begin with.
Korekiyo giggled, kissing shuichi
Shuichi only blushed a lot more as Korekiyo kissed him. Despite him being the one to initiate their first kiss, he was easily embarrassed by the kiss, and it seemed like most displays of affection could easily embarrass him, although he did enjoy them, too.
“ you really are duper shy, kokichi was right,” he chuckled
Shuichi nodded in response as he continued eating his muffin. He had always been a pretty shy person, quiet and reserved for the most part, but he loved the friends that he did have. He was still quiet and all that, but he was happy.
“ I love you..”
Shuichi smiled in response at the comment. While he was still blushing a lot because of the kiss and everything before, he was glad to hear that Korekiyo loved him since he honestly felt the same. Of course, that was pretty obvious.
"I love you, too," he responded softly.
“Do you wanna get back to work or go lay down?” the taller asked, bringing shuichi closer to him
Shuichi sighed softly after a moment. It had taken him quite a while to realize that he was completely exhausted and overworked, but he finally acknowledged it. Besides, with how long he had slept, there wasn't much of a point in returning that day.
"I'm honestly just in a mood to relax now," he responded softly. "Besides, maybe you're right. Maybe I do need a break."
“ I'm had you see it my way,” he said and got up, taking shuichi to lay down
