(honestly, what I've learned is the characters who have pets are more than willing to die for them or with them.)

(Jax doesn’t know how to act around children but after enough interaction, he sota becomes a guard dog. It’s always the big tough distant ones with the soft spot for kids)

(Shaun would be surprisingly good around kids, alot of the homes he was in would have younger kids he had to take care of. Not that he particularly enjoys being around kids, but he'll tolerate it if needed)

(Peregrine is well behaved so they'll probably get along fine)

(I bet, as long as kids don't act like brats he's fine with it, and Peregrine seems like an absolute sweetheart so they'd definitely get along)

(Not to mention his parents literally trained him to be quiet most of the time wdfhjkk)
