"Of course you'd say that…! You two always hated each other…!" He sighed. "Not that I'm in the mood to argue… It's just…I loved her.. It's hard to see her as a bad person…"

" and its hard for me to see you so upset."

"That's…still surprising to hear from you, but hey, at least that means I know it's the truth…" He then thought for a moment. "And if it's that hard for you, why don't you do something about it? Anything's possible, so why don't you try something? Surely you can help me."

kokichi smiled, leaning in and kissing the other

Despite everything that had been said that day, the kiss still came as a surprise from Kaito, but using it as an attempt to cheer him up was definitely a success. Once the kiss was broken, while barely, the other was finally smiling again.

kokichi smiled." happier?"

Kaito nodded. "Yeah, a lot happier, really. Thanks for that, Kokichi." His smile grew a bit wider, proving that he was finally happy for the first time in the week since the breakup. "Anyways…now that I'm in a better mood, you want some breakfast?"

"sure!"

"Okay! What do you want?"

"wafffflllllesss" kokichi said

Kaito laughed a bit. "I'll go make some waffles, then." He smiled as he walked into the kitchen. "They should be done soon!"

"okay!'

Kaito made some waffles for the both of them and returned to the living room a bit later, holding two plates with waffles on them. He handed one to Kokichi. "And I hope you enjoy!"

" i know i wil. love waffles."

"Well, I'm glad!" He sat next to Kokichi and began eating. "Once we're done eating, what do you wanna do? I'll do just about anything you want to." He looked at the other. "Usually I'd have an idea or two, but I've got nothing.. You already know I've been a mess since the breakup.. Honestly, I haven't even bothered caring for myself until just now.." He sighed. "Sure, I'm a mess and I haven't taken care of myself in a week now, but I wouldn't mind doing something with you.. I can't just leave the one person who cares about me alone.."

" maybe we could do something like a spa day?"

"Yeah, that doesn't sound like that bad of an idea. It sounds nice, really." Kaito smiled a bit as he finished eating. "Well, we can get that set up and start it whenever you're ready."

" well lets go."he said

Kaito nodded and stood up. "Let's get this started."

He and Kokichi got everything ready before starting their little at home spa day, which they immediately seemed to enjoy.

kokichi sat in kaitos lap and relaxed. he smiled softly

Kaito looked at the other and smiled as well. "You know, this truly was a good idea. I needed this, really.. Thank you."

" anytime kai" he said and smiled

Kaito smiled back at the other. "I enjoy having you around, Ko. I never thought I'd be saying that, but it's true. I'm a lot happier with you around.. You actually know what you're doing when it comes to getting people through breakups.."

" ive been through a lot.. so experience counts "

Kaito sighed. "I bet you have.. I never knew you too well, but something must've happened in your life…" He then fell silent for a moment before deciding to try and change the subject. "Let's just try to focus on now… We've got each other, don't we? Surely we can make each other's lives better."
