"Especially if you keep acting like that. Something about that makes me really happy." Kaito smiled at him.

" really? " he said and gave another kiss

"Would I really be smiling if it didn't make me happy? I enjoy spending time with you, and having your attention and love is nice…especially after the past week.. It's nice to feel loved again…"

" i bet. im just glad i could do it."

"I'm glad you could, too.. Things are finally gonna get better.. I mean, I've got you now." he smiled. "I'm just gonna say it. I love you, Kokichi."

kokichi flushed " i love you too."

"And that makes me happy.." He held the other close to him. "I couldn't be happier now that I have you…" He smiled softly. "Anyways, since we've been doing this for a while now, I thought I'd ask what we should do for lunch. I think I'm gonna try and sleep after lunch, if that's okay.."

" ill nap with you, im getting a litte tired.."

"Understandable when we've had a very relaxing day…" Kaito yawned before picking Kokichi up. "Also, I decided we're napping now.. I haven't slept in a couple of days, so…" He carried Kokichi to his bedroom and laid him on the bed before lying next to him and yawning again. "I really need sleep, huh…?"

" ye." he said and snuggled kaito

"Well, I'll talk to you later, Kokichi…" He snuggled with the other, and he was asleep in less than a minute. It was clear he really needed to sleep.

The two ended up sleeping for a while. Once Kaito woke up, he just watched over Kokichi. He had only been asleep for about an hour, so he was still rather tired, but his dreams were filled with memories of the past week, so he didn't bother trying to go back to sleep, quietly waiting for the other to wake up.

kokichi woke soon after kaito. " hngh.."

Kaito looked at Kokichi and gave him a moment to wake up before speaking. "Hey, Ko. Did you sleep well?"

" yeah.."

"Hard to tell, but if you did, that's good…" He then yawned, implying that he didn't sleep much or well..

kokichi frowned, running his fingers through the boys hair.

"I'm not sure if you just didn't sleep well or what, but you're not in a good mood…" He had no idea that the issue was his own lack of sleep..

" you need sleep love "

"I tried sleeping… The only thing that happened was all the memories of what happened with Maki coming back, so why bother…?"

" because you need it.."

"I'm doing fine right now, aren't I? I know I need sleep, but it's hard right now… It's not something I want when all it does is remind of the pain…"

" then focus on me when you sleep.." he said and snuggled into kaitos chest.
